Why in every video does the player keep taking hit after hit, please don't tell me you cant block without a shield, that would be stupid.
I know. It just makes the combat look more bland than it needs to be.
Honestly...it took them this long to re-release the same footage. But I could hear things a little clearer than in the leaked PAX video, due to creepy rednecks yelling "RAPE HER" when he was in a city next to a woman. The NPC to NPC interaction still seems weird. "I SAW A DRAGON I SAW A DRAGON!" "What is it NOW, mother?" Also I have a feeling "I saw a mudcrab today, horrible creatures" will change to "I saw a dragon today, horrible creatures"
You obviously didn't hear what he said after that. That made it sound a lot more sensical to me.

I like how that one lady is panicking and freaking out about how she saw a dragon, but is actually just slowly and calmly walking up to her son while yelling hysterically and having her head locked so that she's always staring at him. And how she says what she's panicking about and her son still says "What is it now, mother?" :v: I have to agree with some people that the whole "Large detailed world" thing is both a benefit and a hindrance, because, while some parts of the game will look really well-done, it will also make the blemishes stand out more. Such as the really hackneyed way that the dragon picks up the giant, or the way that some of the animations look kind of iffy, or the bizarre shadows being cast by the foliage, or how the finishing moves don't leave a mark and don't look all that great. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be large and detailed, but it's still a tad distracting. Also, I seriously hope that someone at least makes a mod that gives NPCs a proper ragdoll when they're being carried by a dragon, that giant should not have been completely still when he was being carried upwards. I gave it a bit of a chance back when they first showed it, but we're only two months away from release, so I'm doubting it's going to be fixed.

I don't see what all the nitpicking is about, it seems like really insignificant stuff.
Found a copy of Grasping Fortune in a Redoran stronghold. Hilarious.
It should be incredibly easy for them to make the npc a ragdoll when it is picked up. If it's not like that when they release then I will be least to say surprised. Also I love the video where the crowd starts laughing at the ugly waterfalls. They really are ugly and I hope they deal with that too.
I thought they were laughing at the fish jumping up it.
so excited after seeing those new videos... can't wait

I have no idea why that isn't in the new video. Its just the same crap we saw at E3. I wasn't expecting anything new, but at least do it differently, Todd. Sheesh

Obviously something's not right with the woman.
Why doesn't Todd just show of another quest?
It should be incredibly easy for them to make the npc a ragdoll when it is picked up.
If I know videogame physics correctly, it wouldn't be as easily done as you may think. Either the dragon's claw actually have to collide with the ragdoll, but that may in some cases cause spazzing. They could then disable collision with the claw, which would be worse because then the ragdoll will simply clip through the claw, maybe even slip out of it and fall on the ground at the wrong time making the dragon do a pointless dropping animation.
Yeah, this the exact same stuff they showed at E3. The stuff Todd presented at PAX(?) was a bit different, though the same stuff happened (a lot of scripted stuff, but what would you expect of such a presentation?).
Why doesn't Todd just show of another quest?
Yeah, I want to see some forested areas or a frozen lake...something that isn't Riverwood, a cave, and then a Tundra.
Why doesn't Todd just show of another quest?
You got something there. Why doesn't he show 150 videos of the different dungeons, oh wait, that would spoil the game! You've seen most of the gameplay, the quests, dungeons and storyline are something you experience after the game is released. This is a video game, it is meant to be experienced by the player, not trough videos where someone narrates everything. You know about the combat, you know a little about the story, you know about the jobs and you know all about the attributes and skills. What Bethesda don't want you to know yet is all the perks, how the throne of the world looks like, all the spells, all the NPC and weapons and a lot more you have to find out when you play the game.
Honestly I don't want to see any more. Discovering it myself will be really fun; hell, there's apparently volcanic areas.
You got something there. Why doesn't he show 150 videos of the different dungeons, oh wait, that would spoil the game!
Yeah, now you're just being stupid. I asked about 1 quest, not all the fucking dungeons. Also where did G-Monk go to?
You got something there. Why doesn't he show 150 videos of the different dungeons, oh wait, that would spoil the game!
I wouldn't mind seeing more dragon footage. I would like to see what happens when a dragon attacks a city.
Yeah, now you're just being stupid. I asked about 1 quest, not all the fucking dungeons.
You want to see only one more quest for the next 2 months?

They could do it with hinges/parenting the ragdoll to the claw. It wont slip if it is parented, which is should be because trying to do it with collision is just a stupid idea to start with. Just have the claw-release animation play when the npc is dropping (unparenting) the ragdoll. But this is a silly thing to discuss because I am convinced they will have it dealt with by the release. :)
You want to see only one more quest for the next 2 months?
I can't speak for him but I want to see different stuff. The only monster summon we've seen so far, for instance, has been an Ice Atronarch. And while it looks cool, I want to know what the other summons are, and what they look like. I'd just like to see more stuff in general. If they keep us in the dark I think we'll just get overwhelmed when the game finally comes out.

Can't wait for Eurogamer. Get to try it out for myself!
Can't wait for Eurogamer. Get to try it out for myself!
Which day?
Can't wait for Eurogamer. Get to try it out for myself!
Same here, it'll be my first ever convention. Can't fucking wait. v:v:v
Average reaction to Skyrim coming out. And then, they wont be heard for again for a year.
You want to see only one more quest for the next 2 months?
Well, I just want something else then Riverwood Tundra Dragon.
To be honest, the combat looks really bland. Slash, dodge, slash, dodge. I mean, they even hired the Dark Messiah guys to work on another game, why not let them work on Skyrim instead?
