It was fun in far cry 2 but I can hardly see that in the elder scrolls tbh.

Was the ability to become a werewolf confirmed?
Dunno, I doubt it will be in though. Was it even in one TeS game before or has it always been a mere lore element ?

Well that's one game that had werewolves, and it was more or less a morrowind addon. So expect either no werewolves or werewolves as DLC. Or mods.
Today I started up Oblivion and started a new game. It's just not the same. I can't go back after seeing the screenshots of the various races.

Also did anyone confirm that you can keep playing after you beat the game? I hate when Bethesda makes you reload a save after beating the game. Oblivion did a great job with it, having everyone like you more and getting special perks like the Imperial armor.

You'll see, it's going to be awe-inspiring! What we get: Dumbass citizens having 5 second conversations ("Mudcrabs? Nasty things"), companions that run around in circles and are suddenly magnetized to your chest when you're in combat (Friendly fire, friendly fire everywhere), and enemies that lock onto your position without getting you in their sight.

Automerge!
Today I started up Oblivion and started a new game. It's just not the same. I can't go back after seeing the screenshots of the various races.
The same feelings struck me after playing through Oblivion, then picking up Morrowind.

That's one thing the Beth Devs really screwed up on with Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3. You could slaughter whole villages, nuke Megaton, behead every last hobo across the land, and rape the Queen of Happy-Land. But, as long as you save Cyrodil/Washington D.C., or even give a hobo an endless supply of purified water, everyone else will love you. Even the spirits of those you massacred. I don't want them to be over-powered, or nerfed (just like in OB) for that matter, when Skyrim comes out.
From my understanding, the LMB controls your left hand and the RMB controls the right.... I really hope this is reversible because that would definitely take some getting used to, being right handed. But just about every control was customizable in Oblivion so there's a good chance it will be in this game well.
Will this game have any sort of multiplayer?
Will this game have any sort of multiplayer?
Rather silly question, outside of mods, no Elder Scrolls game has had any type of multiplayer
I think it would be cool if you could actually use fire properly in the game. For example, being able to burn down trees/forests/villages with fire.
You can't do that I imagine, but I did watch a demo vid where Fire sets shrubs on fire. Doesn't burn them down iirc though.
Dunno, I doubt it will be in though. Was it even in one TeS game before or has it always been a mere lore element ?
In Daggerfall you had the ability to become a wereboar or werewolf, and you were able to become a werewolf in Bloodmoon
Will this game have any sort of multiplayer?
This series doesn't need multiplayer. For one thing its not balanced for multiplayer. Also it would ruin the immersion and story not only for having thousands of Dragonborns, but everything else that goes on when people play an online game.
I didn't say there wouldn't be any werewolves, I just doubt you can be able to be one.
That would just be ridiculous. If there are werebeasts yet no ability to become one, what's the point in having werebeasts in the first place? But again, I wouldn't put it past them to do that.
Implying co-op slaying those dragon people and shit doesnt look cool. is the oblivion community those 'holier-than-thou' people
Co-op is more understandable, I guess. They still probably won't do it. And I don't get what you mean with the second comment. Are you talking about Elder Scrolls fans in general or the modding community? EDIT: Oh wait I think I get it. You're butthurt because people don't want a game that has never had multiplayer to have multiplayer all of a sudden, and you think they're elitists because they think that. Am I in the ball park?
oblivion community
HHHNNNGGHHHHH STOP THAT
Todd on Oblivion: Hey guys, there's going to be some amazing AI in this game! You'll see, it's going to be awe-inspiring! Considering it came out in 2005 that level of AI was pretty mind blowing. It had a lot of quirks, sure, but overall bethesda delivered.
I also think Radiant Story is a lot more realistic than Radiant AI. Todd shouldn't have named it "Radiant" though because it lead to trolls saying it wasn't like the demo vid from 2005. Radiant Story just means everything is randomized about the game. It doesn't mean NPCs will shoot fireballs at their dogs for barking while they were sleeping, it means randomized elements were in the game. Oblivion had one randomized thing...rumors. Whenever you loaded a new game, NPCs always had new rumors to tell. That was like a very early version of what Radiant story is, and the consoles are able to take on Radiant Story without trouble. In fact, the reason Radiant AI didn't make it was because of two things: 1. Consoles couldn't do it because it was too complex 2. PCs that COULD pull it off would lead to dead people everywhere. Just imagine a wizard shooting a fireball at a dog "just because it annoyed him with its barking". This would lead to a massacre. There's a youtube vid somewhere where remnants of Radiant AI are apparent, and a couple that have some pet dogs get in a fight with each other and their dogs for no apparent reason. They get killed by guards.
oblivion community
cut it out

A Co-op version of Skyrim?! HHHNNNNNNNGGG ALL OF MY MONIS
