Having already waited five years since the launch the last Elder Scrolls game, Oblivion, we can just about hold out until Skyrim's November 11 release on PS3, 360 and PC.
Bethesda said earlier this month that it isn't dumbing down Skyrim in order to attract a bigger fanbase, with design director Todd Howard reasoning that the company has "found that we're getting a pretty big audience making a game that we want to make".[/release]

I mean goddamn my PC is bad (1.6 ghz processor and 856 or so RAM doesn't help) but I can run Oblivion with Large Textures, Morrowind maxed (not with the dynamic shadows on for some reason) and high resolutions in Oblivion (I disable shadows and bloom lighting).
I hope I can run Skyrim, but i'll buy it even if I can't.
