The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim V5: But there is one they fear - Dragon porn!

I am starved for skyrim info.
I'm thinking of doing another "mix race" story. My main in Oblivion was the bastard child between an Imperial man and a Nord woman. I want my Oblivion character and my Skyrim character to be related, but then again that's so cliche.
i CAN'T FUCKING wAIT mY aRGONIAN BrETHREN
Eurogamer footage shows a moose running away from an attacking player- that is not standard moose procedure
I'm sad you can't block with dual wielding. but i will get over it, because a real nord can't NOT have two axes :v:

I noticed a lot of cool things in there.
Crafting animations
Better bartering system where you can actually look at a sword before buying it, and it looks more "Realistic" with the new UI too
Also, I saw a Moose. Also when he hit it with his weapon it left a visible cut.
Man, its a great feeling to have been awed by this game enough to pre-order it the day it became available on Steam and see cooler and cooler things for it with every passing day.
CAN"T WAIT FOR THIS GAME!!!
I'm still worried the animations are going to be stiff and unnatural just like Oblivion, and Fallout 3, and New Vegas...

Most of the videos have shown that the animations are smooth and fluid.
I hope they optimize it well :ohdear:
This is perfect. My 21st birthday is on November 10th, Veterans day is 11th so no school that day. Fantastic.

Booze and Skyrim.
This will be the best birthday ever.

When you challenge someone to a drinking contest in Skyrim, you can actually drink along with your character! Isn't roleplaying fun?

We better be able to clash mugs together

Took me ages to get the rainmeter countdown made. But once it was done, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that we only have 48 days left. :v:
I don't understand why people, and Bethesda seemingly don't understand the issue with invincible children running around.
It's not that we're messed up people who just want to go around killing children for dark twisted reasons, although I for one don't see the issue because it's a goddamn 2 dimensional render molded into a 3D shape made to resemble a child. It's not really a kid.
Anyway, it's not a complaint on not being able to kill kids, but a complaint about more needless essentials. I still say I'd much rather see a Morrowind system where there were little to no essentials and it would just have a pop-up telling you if you killed an important person.
Long story short, I couldn't care less about killing kids, I just don't want a bunch of invincible dicks running around after I massacre a village or a dragon rampages through a town or something.
children
I just don't care, at all. Kids do literally nothing for me in game.
It's like walking through the Legion camp in New Vegas and having those two little shits in Legion gear running around while I kill the elders. I forgot that they were even there not five seconds after I saw them.

Well that's my point though, I also massacred the Legion camp. And that bothered the shit out of me. Everybody was dead, even the slaves and the trader dude outside.
But no, the two damn kids in Legion gear and the girl in the Brahmin pen who wants the Bear. FOREVERTHERE. Always made me so mad, I'd prefer they just not be there at all. Essentials, no matter the age, bother me.
I should be able to kill ALL the things.
It's at those points you pull up the console and go "SetEssential 0"
So gonna go full on mage this game, since I've really only played a thief character before and dabbled in a big knight character. I was just never very satisfied with the way magic looked and felt in Oblivion to be tempted enough to try a strictly mage-based guy.
Now that the magic seems really fleshed out though, with stuff like charged up spells, trap spells, practical spells (Such as the pathfinder clairvoyance spell, particularly if you go no hub) and very appealing asthetics imo (Love being able to see the spells in the menu, so pretty), I feel like I will enjoy the shit outa a full-fledged spell slinger.
Unlike oblivion where it was just FIREBALL FIREBALL FIREBALL until whatever died. :v:
Also, fucking love the spirited conjured bow look, makes me want to actually do conjuring in this game for the weaponry so those instances when I want to bash someone melee style, I'll have the chance (And look badass doing it too).
Can you dual-wield conjured up weaponry? I'm guessing you just put a conjure spell in each hand and that's how it works, would make for cool adrenaline dual magic sword rushes.
God getting all kinds of boners from the possibilities.

Also, since there are moose in the game, can you cut of its head, stuff it and hang it up on your wall?
I think the game is region locked. Or am i mistaken?

"Region: UK version"
I've preordered from Amazon UK (and i'm from another country) and i'd like to know what you guys think
Thanks
Tried Skyrim at Eurogamer, it was pretty much exactly what I expected.
Ran around aimlessly, saw a small hut, killed an old woman there, saw Bleak Falls Barrow, made my way up to it, killed some bandits along the way, got inside the dungeon itself, killed some guys with a greatsword, found a puzzle, failed to solve it, time up.
It left me wanting more, as expected. :v:

I may be going to see Gorgoroth on the 10th, Skyrim the next day, gonna be the best two days ever.
I noticed in the eurogamer footage that that last argonian had a different, barbed tail than the one we saw before.
This either means that we get to choose tails, or males get different tails than females
Yes, but did you never notice the screwdriver that turned the lock?

the mouse controls the pick, the directional buttons control if the screwdriver moves or not.
yep im very much mistaken, havent played fallout in a while so i forgot about the screwdriver
i have just remembered about leveling up. you earn skill ranks untill level up appears on the screen. then at any time yoy head to the menu and "skills" are replaced by "level up", you then choose between health, magic or endurance.
after this you get to allign a point into skilltrees created for every skill. most of these require 2 or 3 points to unlock and move onto the next ability.
i browsed rather quickly but some effects are similar to the "perks" in fallout. they allow different uses for what you already have, these include (dont quote me on this) dual weilding, combining spells and made alterations to other parts such as rate which magic regerates or how much stamina is used by running

Yeah, we have known about that for quite a while.
But does that replace the ability to put points into strength, intelligence and what not, or does it just add on to it?
Ugh I'm so JEALOUS of ALL of YOU that got to play SKYRIM at EUROGAMER.
Finally put in my pre order.
I used amazon.co.uk, chose first class so it should come on the day of release right?
I'm only asking because I swear it used to say something like "Want to get this on the day of release? Choose first class..." or something, which doesent seem to be there now. Anyone know if im imagining it or what?

Every time you level up in Skyrim you can choose to increase your health, mana, or stamina. and then you get to choose one perk.
