I usually just minimize every window I have open, I hope the devs fix it soon if it is fixable.
I found the fix. Just go to Rainmeter -> Manage, find the "CountdownToSkyrim.ini" and double click it, click the Position drop-down and set it to "On desktop". As far as I know there is no way to force this via the script, and sometimes the selection doesn't save... but once it does, works flawlessly.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20422707/Countdown%20To%20Skyrim.zip That was easy. EDIT: There is an issue with it hiding itself... I need to figure out how to fix this. I suspect it's related to this 'CHIDE' thing.
Lol, I was just about to upload mine.
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/119/1196353p1.html oh IGN, you so dirty to compare two completely different games.
Since Skyrim is still almost 2 months away, I decided to wander around in oblivion, visiting places where I had never been before. I climbed on top of Valus mountain and just when I reach the magical wall next to morrowind, I find something. There appears to be a burned down spot with a few scorched trees. There is spiderweb all over the place and right in the middle of the spot is a chest with one lit candle on it (surrounded by skulls on spikes). The chest itself contained 5 gold. It's just there, in the middle of nowhere and isn't marked on the map. Anyone been there and/or knows what it is for?
Probably not anything, there's a bunch of stuff that's just to make the landscape a bit more interesting, like the burnt down potion shop (with the only surviving potions being resist fire)
I don't care about anything IGN has to say really, all their reviews are either bought or shit it seems.
That's just about ANY gaming magazine/website/show now-a-days, I never trust reviews... ever. I play things for myself and then decide if I like it or not. Remember that gem from a few years back, Two Worlds? Brace for this. Are you ready? Actually... A pretty good game.
lol skyrims shit ima buy me sum darth souls
That actually sounded better than those retarded "COD MWtrhee iz beter than Skaiwim"-jokes. You can't spell ignorant without IGN.

Read the article, the author's retarded. I like how he implied the amount of playtime you could get from Skyrim, and no mention of playtime in dark souls. Also the complaints of the map. Even if oblivion had a way less interesting world than Morrowind, it was definitely tolerable. I found it fun to just walk along the roads, and find bandit camps here and there. And it's p much confirmed that Skyrim terrain wont be copypasted all over, and hopefully there will be interesting stuff. Actually, you can see this from the e3 demo where todd walks out of the cave past those giants. That tundra with the city in the distance looked amazing. Yes, it was quite empty, (cept for those guard towers) but tundras aren't ideal living conditions for anyone. [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] And i can't honestly think why any author not grown up on cod and madden would criticize a full on singleplayer game. There's a reason why Valve makes separate single-and-multiplayer experiences. And in the few games they've mixed the different parts the core gameplay is just copypasted over. There are only a handful of games that can boast an awesome single- AND multiplayer experience. [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] And on top of that, the guy doesn't even mention crafting, minigames, the radiant story, the persistent world economy, and magic [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] And has Bethesda REALLY worked on skyrim for five years? Seeing as fallout 3 was released in 2008. And on top of that they remade the engine they used. I honestly don't think 3 years is enough time to implement a steady multiplayer. [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] The only part I agree with is the ridiculous pricing of the game, plus the already planned DLC. That's bullshit and everyone knows it. (but it wont go for 15$ a piece tho)
Yeah but mw3 is obviously a better rpg then skyrim as it has xp and unlocks. :downs:

It was an Oblivion clone but it was still pretty fun. However I didn't like the sequel as much. It crashed too much for it to be enjoyable, and it seemed like it was even smaller than the first game. The game map is HUGE but 95% of the world is ocean.
Someone should make a review of IGN. A bad one with no valid points, that'll teach em
Well I finally preordered. I could've waited for more footage, I probably should've, I don't know why I preordered besides the fact that it's a TES game You better not make me regret this Bethesda, after all I could've gotten Darksouls, which experts predict will be 5 times better than skyrim
It's coming out the day after my birthday. DOUBLE PAINFUL 10 DAYS.
Me too!

Some new scans: and a daedric sword!
I was the first one to preorder CE from my local store...good thing pre-ordering costs nothing and im not obligated to pick it up.
Daedric sword looks wicked! I hope the models are high poly, would look great in the viewer. I'm hoping for swords of vast materials like bone and glass intertwined together.
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/119/1196353p1.html oh IGN, you so dirty to compare two completely different games.
God damn that fucking review is bringing unneeded hate to both games. Everywhere I go for Dark Souls info now has Skyrim fanboys talking shit and vise versa. The author of the article, completely missed the points of what the games are supposed to be/play like. They are way too different to even compare. It's like comparing Halo to Battlefield. Needless to say I'll be getting both games, and I'll enjoy the hell out of them because they are going to be really good games.
If people moan that i'm wasting my money, think of it this way... i'm supporting the developers for the next games, so I don't care i'm getting something out of it, which I think is amazing but i'm giving them a lot of my money for it too to support them.
Wait, so first there's a fight about whether Skyrim or MW3 are better, now it's Skyrim and Dark Souls? Believe me, i think Dark Souls will be a great game, the same for Skyrim, but i don't understand why there's so much competition about which game is better.
