I'm surprised Orcs and Humans cannot, or do not, commonly produce offspring. I suppose I shouldn't be though as both races usually see the other as hideous looking excuses for creatures.

Orcs (atleast in Oblivion) just look like green humans so I don't see why they find eachother "hideous looking excuses for creatures"
You're forgetting that Orcs were mearly seen as monsters in Arena and Daggerfall, it wasn't until they founded the nation of Orsinium that they were recognised as anything other than beasts. The book in Morrowind is probably out of date or just racist.

A few lines of dialogue in Oblivion various Human NPCs comment on how all Orcs look primitive and brutish, and Orc NPCs state that Humans look too weak and fragile.

The effect vampirism has on an Oblivion character is referred to as "monkey-faced" on UESP.
I find the skill leveling system funny.
As I am posting this, I am in Oblivion, trying to get my light armour skill up by letting this weak skeleton with an iron weapon, keep hitting me over and over again.

Reminds me of being short on cash, finding a skeleton shooting dwarwen arrows and just dodging and collecting them. I made a shitload of cash, it needs a lot of patience though.

That's impossible for me, I have a mod that makes arrows go as fast as they would in real life, so arrows hit almost instantly within 30 meters.
