I don't think so.
Got an extra copy of this on Steam if anyone is interested; did they end up releasing any information about the character creation system itself?
Of course everyone is interested, I would give my left nut for Skyrim. :v:
In buying it or what did you have in mind?

gimmie

Can I have it please mr. random individual?

No I want it.
I really don't think he's looking to just give it away.
Especially after I noticed a post yesterday in the TF2 trading thread about him wanting to trade for it.
He may have changed his mind but if you guys haven't even pre-ordered it yet, what the fuck is wrong with you? :v:
[editline]26th September 2011[/editline]
Yeah I think he snipped that post in the TF2 section.
I know, that's why I were wondering what he had in mind.
I'm gonna pre-order this bitch next month or so otherwise.
I want to replay Oblivion again but i have never played it with mods, what are the good/best mods you guys can recommend?
slofs boners

But in all seriousness it depends on what you want. If all you want to do is enhance the visuals use one of the various texture replacers/enhancers. If you want it to be more difficult use mmm or ooo. Then I would also suggest some of the other mods that make the game livelier like expanded imperial city or something that adds 200 or so more npcs to the ic, kvatch rebuilt, etc. etc. Then if you want to expand on side quests you can download things like the archaeology guild mod.
It isn't but it is cool as fuck.
I'll just get my statue of eBay or something.
Day 1 dragon dildo mod in the works guys.
To be honest I don't really think the statue looks that worth it, it could be from anything. I'd have preferred a statue of Dovakiin or something more clearly connected to TES.
You mean like the one displayed in the stores?
Well if you think about it, if the Oblivion collectors edition had included a 3D model instead of the Septim coin, it would likely have been an Oblivion gate on a base/pedestal because they were the defining feature of the game.
Hence why a dragon was chosen for Skyrim's collectors model, they are the defining feature of the game.
Honestly I think the Dragon statue isn't all that cool, and certainly isn't worth the huge price tag.
Perk list seems really incomplete
Its missing stuff light light armor and smithing, alteraton only shows 3 perks, etc
NJ on PC gamer though for coming up with a badly written article with a sensationalist title :downs:
There have been shown off smithing and pickpocketing perks, but they weren't included in that article.

Yes, but an oblivion gate would be something unique to TES, dragons aren't.
FYI it isn't just a dragon, it is Alduin in dragon form resting on a word wall.

Still only looks like a dragon to me.

And he will probably end up being seen once in the whole game like Mehrunes Dagon did in Oblivion
I'm really, REALLY starting to wonder whether I should cancel my Collector's Edition pre-order or not. On one hand, it's really not worth the price, and I have the game on Steam already anyway. On the other hand, I want a physical copy (though of course that doesn't need to be the CE), plus I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fanboy and I'll probably regret not getting the CE, though it's the question if not regretting it is worth 150 dollars.

You'll regret it if you cancel it, and getting a physical copy is neat and all, but you said you're a huge TES-fanboy. I'd go for the CE if I were you. It's limited in quanitity. Money comes and goes

Chrome doesnt like rating so keep the CE preorder.

I'm a huge TES-fanboy aswell, but I couldn't care less for a plastic dragon and a cloth map to be honest(at that price atleast).
I just want to play Skyrim all day, every day.
Sneak attacks with daggers do 15x damage (end perk on skill tree)
I cant remember but was there actually any bonus to using daggers for sneak attacks in Oblivion? Or was it the same with any 1 handed weapon? Either way this is very good. A decent incentive to use daggers for sneak.

x12 bonus IIRC
Do I get the map if I pre-ordered from amazon?
Ho boy, I hope that when a dark elf attacks you, they scream "YOU N'WAH!!!"
x12 bonus IIRC
I thought daggers were the same as any 1 hander. 4x (then 8x at apprentice level)
So you guys are probably tired of checking out desktops, but:

Found some Dohvakin text here, which worked well with this sort of wall-of-text clock that was available somewhere on Deviantart.
Major inclusion being the Dohvakin text. Not as cool as that minimalistic one posted a while ago (because I actually need access to stuff like my arts and messenger), but whatevs.
