Either way, the battle ends. :v:
The way you said that made me think of a pokemon battle.
Bandit Chad was defeated!
You found 50 gold on the corpse
(Sent some to mom)
Wait a minute... Dovahkiin is evolving!

I laughed at this much much harder than I should have.
only 26?
After I beat the game, and did all the dark brotherhood quests and such, I got so bored of my argonian
I doubt it will, Bethesda's never been very good with things like that.
Or hair. Bethesda's terrible with hair.
The thing I want to see most in future games is cloth physics.
if skyrim has cloth physics it would be the greatest game ever
Why aren't my saves going through in oblivion? they disappear.
I'm in the process of making a leather Dovahkiin helmet. I'll post pictures in a week or so.
Well I have enough money to upgrade to the Collector's Edition, so I probably will. I don't really think it's worth it, but it's The Elder Scrolls so I'm willing to light my wallet on fire for it. Buying the Collector's Guide too.
Nearly 200 bucks down the toilet and I'm okay with that. V:v:V
Bethesda producer Todd Howard has already confirmed an "unlimited number of dragons" in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. At QuakeCon, Howard revealed the Collectors Edition for the title, which comes with a 12" statue of the dragon Alduin perched on a dragon wall. That's one more dragon than you get with the game alone -- or infinity plus one dragons -- making the CE a mathematical impossibility.
Other, less troubling bonuses include a 200-page "coffee table" artbook, and a making-of DVD. It'll be available on the game's November 11 release date at the only slightly less than infinite price of $149.99 US/ €149.99 EU/ £129.99 UK/ $199.99 Australian. And don't forget to pre-order, because if you're splashing out this much for Skyrim stuff, you're pretty much guaranteed to want that cloth map too.

So the came costs about $60 and you're paying $90 for a dragon statue, an artbook, and a DVD.
Not worth it. I rather just go buy a dragon dildo if I want a dragon experience.
Woah. Just re-watched TES IV: Oblivion trailer. Bethesda is really good at crafting trailers and environments, but not so good at main questlines. The backstory, however, is fucking golden.
The Elder Scrolls series lore really is amazing.

I've read every book I found in Morrowind, (not so much in Oblivion) just because I love the endless amounts of things I can learn about a goddamn videogame's lore.
...Is there something wrong with me?

One of the things that made Morrowind better than Obliv imo
One of the things that made Morrowind better than Obliv imo
Because you can't do that in Oblivion?
The thing I like about TES is the fact that the entire story was made in a DnD basement long before even Arena was made.
Only took the really cool ones

Here's some (slightly) better quality ones from PCG. They didn't have the northern light picture in there though so I put one another in it's place.

I still want that fucking helmet. That thing is awesome, I hope there are more full mask helmets.
I have the urge to play this on Hard.
That orc, goddamn

i can't be the only one who thinks this blocking looks really weird?

it's like he's holding a longsword

If we go by what the average prices are here for comparable items (i.e. hardcover, full-colour, two hundred page books and DVDs), that would make the dragon statue cost around 40 dollars. By chance, I've actually happened to buy PVC dragon statues before, and while 40 dollars is certainly expensive for a PVC dragon, it's actually under the market price, from my experience.
Still overpriced though.

You cant really block with the head of a warhammer/axe, it's too cumbersome.
Or maybe it's an attack. You never know with screenshots.

the text says he is blocking though
and in skyrim you probably will be able to block with warhammer/axe
The women actually look hot!
I really like the look of that orc! I may need to roll one at some point after my first dunmer playthrough.

I thought he was swinging the warhammer on that picture.
I agree about the orcs. I think this will be the first time I play as an orc.
I wish there is unarmored skill or it's part of light armor. If I am a mage, I want to wear robes.
Not sure there is an unarmored skill, but someone said that there are definitely more benefits to wearing robes than in the last game (which was pretty much just another slot for enchantments). One of the bonuses being a nice boost to your magika, and other stuff like that, so you could probably see spell boosts and other magic-enhancing bonuses from wearing robes down the road.
Also wonder if they made sure to give Orcs a huge overhaul so people will actually play them this time around.
What about normal clothing?
That Argonian looks so menacing and badass I can't wait to play as one
[editline]30th September 2011[/editline]
Except the hair
I just hope that they don't try to make up for the putty face people in Oblivion by making every girl in Skyrim a super model. Attractive girls are great to have around but when that's the only thing on the market, it gets stale.
