Pre-ordering this 18:th of October :D.
Oh for fucks sake every time you post my mind goes paranoid for a split second about me having Alzheimer's or something.
If I can't be Imperial Loyalist I will be sadden. Likewise if I can't not be loyalist.
Part of being Dragonborn means having the ability to become a legitimate heir to the Dragon Throne, I'd be surprised if they don't give you the option of becoming the new Emperor (maybe using the blood of Alduin to create a new Amulet of Kings, since the last one was created with the blood of Akatosh [sp]who's supposedly Alduin, just in a more pissed off form.[/sp])
No need to encourage devs to recycle content, give us a different Daedric prince's realm to explore!
I'd rather have another Bloodmoon/Tribunal-esque expansion than another Daedric realm. Shivering Isles was fun but it was just too out there for me to ever want to replay it. Bloodmoon and Tribunal however are two of the best expansions ever made.
Bethesda already said you can't affect the political situation in Skyrim.

You don't HAVE to become a dragonborn to become an emporer, it's just that Talos was one, and his his descendants were prolly too, atleast Martin and Uriel VII were.
I can't remember who I stole this avatar from, maybe it was you lol.
If someone stole my avatar, I'd be a bit pissed off.
If someone stole my avatar, I'd be a bit pissed off.
I've had this avatar since I created this account, so yea not changing.
If someone stole my avatar, I'd be a bit pissed off.
It's inconvenient and a tad rude but it's not like I made this shit myself either so he has all the right to keep it. [editline]3rd October 2011[/editline]
I've had this avatar since I created this account, so yea not changing.
All we need to do now is figure out which one of us is the evil twin and which one is the good one.
um
if we can't change the political situation in skyrim, then why the fuck did they put factions in the game? I think they lied because the main plot involves that.
I would like to post here more, but I'm so afraid of any spoilers. I really don't want to spoil too much of the game. :ohdear:
All we need to do now is figure out which one of us is the evil twin and which one is the good one.
I clearly remember getting it from someone the first day and indeed it may be rude, but since it was such a long time ago, I don't know.
I would like to post here more, but I'm so afraid of any spoilers. I really don't want to spoil too much of the game. :ohdear:
really, there are no spoilers, its not like we know the entire story of the game. the only major spoiler you might find is that the mudcrab armor DLC is being released along with the game :v:
Part of being Dragonborn means having the ability to become a legitimate heir to the Dragon Throne, I'd be surprised if they don't give you the option of becoming the new Emperor (maybe using the blood of Alduin to create a new Amulet of Kings, since the last one was created with the blood of Akatosh [sp]who's supposedly Alduin, just in a more pissed off form.[/sp])
Yes but the reason the emperors had to be dragonborn was because of the amulet of kings, I wouldn't be surprised if the story of skyrim has nothing to do with you becoming emperor because of that simple fact Infact, i'd say it'd be pretty stupid for someone to not have been crowned emperor inbetween the events of oblivion and skyrim, instead leaving the political system open ended just because there's no dragonborn until skyrim would be ridiculous from any point of view, especially without the amulet being the limiting factor
With spoilers I don't just mean the story, I'm talking about details I don't want to know before first playing the game. That long list of perks and etc, for example, I hardly managed not to look at it because I think the experience will be so much more fresh when it's finally released. Same thing as I don't want to hear about the characters and all. You get the point.
if we can't change the political situation in skyrim, then why the fuck did they put factions in the game? On a more serious note: Why do everyone think that if someone make a sequel to a game and lets the player answer questions about/get save data from the previous game it actually works? I mean, if Skyrim have multiple endings, what should the characters in the next game say about it? Will everyone just forget about it or will it end up one way anyway after all your work of trying to change the fate of the province? Let's stick with the dragons, the everyone will forget about you like the other TES games. Short said: It is almost impossible to make a sequel to a game with multiple, very different endings.
If I can't be Imperial Loyalist I will be sadden. Likewise if I can't not be loyalist.
Its been confirmed you can join the Imperial guard in the PCG magazine.
Its been confirmed you can join the Imperial guard in the PCG magazine.
That's kinda cool. Few people are going to use it, but it's cool.

I never knew the official Skyrim facebook page was run by a 13 year old girl.
I never knew the official Skyrim facebook page was run by a 13 year old girl
Maybe they're trying to appeal to what they think is the typical facebook crowd.
But that isn't the official Skyrim page? The Elder Scrolls/Council is the official page.
But that isn't the official Skyrim page? The Elder Scrolls/Council is the official page.
Now I feel like a fuckwit.

Funnily enough, that's because it's not official. This is the only official page. http://www.facebook.com/TheElderScrolls
Its been confirmed you can join the Imperial guard in the PCG magazine.
I hope we get the oppertunity to yell "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM!" It would be amazing.
I hope we get the oppertunity to yell "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM!" It would be amazing.
I bet we do, Bethesda love to toss in a few tid bits as jokes in the TES games
