No, I think that he means that Dragon shouts can have more abilities like breathing fire, while Thu'um can only do more grander things like shake the world or convince an army or something. In other words, Dragon shouts are Dumbledore, Thu'um is Gandalf. In any case I think he's wrong, I'm pretty sure Dragon shouts ARE Thu'um.
Other way around. Dragon shouts are confirmed to have non-offensive capabilities.
Dragon shouts are literally just Thu'um except instead of training to do it, you can just do it because dragons. Same thing, different method. Not different thing at all
so is there some kind of "dragon breath meter" or can you just spam dragonshouts all day and not give a fuck about magic?
so is there some kind of "dragon breath meter" or can you just spam dragonshouts all day and not give a fuck about magic?
There is.
There is.
Could have sworn it was just cooldowns, can't remember if it's per-shout or just "sore throat for X minutes" (I'd like the latter, more strategic)

Wasn't there the emperor who could use Thu'um until he got poisoned or something and lost his voice? Too lazy to go google it right now. So yeah, losing your voice is serious business in Skyrim :v:
In the achievements : "successfully intimidate" FUCK YEAH INTIMIDATION
In the full perk tree's that were posted a while back you could see intimidation, taunting and admiration. Maybe they're doing it Morrowind style?
Every mage is Skyrim uses magic which gives you silence. I just know it.
Even more annoying, Necromanchers have a revive spell. Meet two, fight forever.
Even more annoying, Necromanchers have a revive spell. Meet two, fight forever.
Go, Team Cleric!
Even more annoying, Necromanchers have a revive spell. Meet two, fight forever.
Double fireball spell
So whats bethesdas plan with showing off Skyrim? are we not getting anymore videos? only screenshots? if this is true then i think they have the right idea. Too many games show off way to much gameplay and before you know, you have spoiled yourself for the actual game
Even more annoying, Necromanchers have a revive spell. Meet two, fight forever.
Oh god Imagine learning the revive spell, AND DUAL-WIELD IT. SUPER REVIVAL. The dead guy wakes up super buff, punches everyone in two and runs a couple marathons.
It would be really awesome if you could get it yourself, indeed. Zombie wife!
1. Kill wife 2. Revive wife That's at east what I was thinking.
Kill wife Reanimate wife Enjoy a wife that will fall dead every time the spell's effect ends. Yeah, not a smart move. That spell is useful to create some short-lived smart zombies to aid you for a brief time, anything else can only end in tragedy. Or finally killing some super-annoying boss only to revive him and decapitate him again.
Enchant clothes with revive, never die again.
Enchant clothes with revive, never die again.
But you can never strip, so there goes the sexytimes.
But you can never strip, so there goes the sexytimes.
And it is because of this that Dovakhiin invented zippers.

What's the harm is showing that off? How will seeing some gameplay with no story what so ever ruin it for you? And even then what would stop you from not watching it
Again if a video is released no one is going to tie you down and force you to watch it, and screenshots can show most of what you just covered
I agree with this, it's been 8 months since the last video. They say there is 400+ hours of gameplay and obviously a crap ton of hand crafted dungeons yet we can't get a video showing just a really cool one. I think it's lazyness and people not wanting a video are crazy. There is so much they can show us without spoiling it that there should be no excuse. Why haven't i preordered yet? Because i want to see more of the game and wait to see if there are any special offers yet there are none. It's disapointing, i can't live off of a 2 minute trailer for a entire year.
I might just skip my usual friendly and talky axe wielding orc I have played in Morrowind and Oblivion, and be a little bit more evil this time around. I'm getting more of a viking feel from this game, so I might go for Nord if the beard simulator delivers.
