Yeah, the only problem with them is having the AI actually be able to respond to the things you've done without making them seem like omniscient-gods. That and not boring you to death because you're just sitting there waiting for something to happen.
Im afraid my douchenugget shitlord roommate is gonna buy this game and ruin the plot for me by playing it in front of me in our tiny ass dorm.
I will literally not go into that dorm if he is playing Skyrim. Guess itll give me a good reason to study or something.
But I think he's expecting me to buy it because Ive told him how excited for it I am. The thing is though, when I play these types of games I like to be alone by myself so I can immerse myself in the world. If hes around while im playing he'll just say a lot of shit I dont want to hear so Im gonna end up having to be a douche and just hoard the game to myself and having to lock it somewhere secure like my car so he doesnt play it and be like "hey josh did you hear that Uriel Septim comes in and makes all the dragons explode" and spoil shit for me.
/rant on my roommate who I dont like

Argonians and Khajiits don't count for the nudity, they had no sexual assets whatsoever when they were still naked.
Um, some people like fucking Argonians

What about your avatar?

Agreed. I just want more psychological stuff like that from the dark brotherhood. I also hope the dark brotherhood has some "radiant story" stuff as well. Kind of like how I think I heard that if you are part of the thieves guild if you see a thief being carried away by a guard you can help them.
What about your avatar?
I wouldn't fuck my avatar, I would never fuck an animal in real life.
But some people are insane and do that.
What thread am I in right now.. oh yeah Elder Scrolls...
When I get the game, should I go with Bow and Sword or Magic and Sword?
At "WHY DO YOU EVEN WANT TO KILL KIDS" rants:
It's not about wanting to kill kids. It's the same as essential characters. Them being invulnerable or just failing to die is annoying as hell if you're going genocidal. If I go outside right now and punch one of the many small annoying children in my neighbourhood, he's going to fucking fall down and cry. But if I do it in Skyrim, my fist goes right through! Nothing happens! Wowie zowie ~so immersive~.
It's not about killing kids, it's about killing everybody.
Edit: It's also about not being prevented from doing things. If no sane person would WANT to kill the children, and nobody who this bothers according to you would ever do it, then why is it such a big deal for it to be possible? It's a stripping of possibilities, which while minor is still one less thing we can do that we should realistically be able to. The gamers who grew up with these games are old enough now, no longer young and impressionable, to know the difference between right and wrong and more importantly the difference between pixels and reality. I find it offensive that the gaming industry refuses to acknowledge that I can tell this difference. It's belittling to gamers everywhere, grouping us all in with the small minority who jack off to rape and murder, and you should give a shit.
What is MGXE anyway
An optimized version of MGE, with dynamic shadows and some more stuff.
i played Morroblivion and it was kinda shit. all the important things that made morrowind possible were absent in that mod.

Also as far as I remember TeS never featured such things as child murder, nudity and other joyous things. Stop complaining about stuff being scrapped out the game while they weren't in the game in the first place.

Someone never played Daggerfall.

And if you took of all your clothes, you'd be nude too.
Now to get back to the original discussion of Skyrim and the reason we all are here for...

Retractable beard now needs to be a dragon shout.
Where can I get the Wizard's Tower plugin for Oblivion? It's not on Steam and I can't find it on Bethesda's site.
This thread seems to be filled with child predators and necrophiles... We're going to need more chairs. /foxnews
From a more relaxed standpoint, though, I'd like to offer my opinion on why Bethesda has decided to tone down the "offensive" content.
There's a point where a line must be drawn to keep the games industry afloat. For instance, if you allow everyone to be stripped nude upon death, what do you do when a child dies? If you can't kill children, that breaks the immersion. If you can't loot the clothes from children, it breaks the immersion. If you allow people to loot the clothes from children, but leave underclothes... It breaks the immersion. If you can kill and strip a child nude... Bethesda gets shut down for distributing child pornography.
I know that's an extreme extrapolation, but it's there to prove a point. The line has to be drawn somewhere, and you might as well draw it where the majority of your demographic will accept it. As the demographic for these types of games has dropped quite a bit (My ultra-religious aunt bought Oblivion for her 12-yo son), the developers will tend to draw the line in more tasteful and age-appropriate areas to maximize profit while minimizing negative press.
And yes, rampant necrophilia does generate negative press. Gay marriage, not so much.

On the topic of The Witcher... Sweden. That is all.
I think that just about covers everything over the past two pages. Am I missing anything?
Sorry that I ask, but what the hell does that mean?

Also regarding the Azura's shrine thing that was discussed earlier.
How lonely are you that you care if a statue is topless or not?

To me it's more of a matter of "Huh. Did they really have to go and change that? "
It's not game breaking or anything. Just a bit silly since Skyrim is largely populated by Nords and I don't really think of Nords as the most modest of all people.

This solves all of our rants, problems, and skyrim's flaws!

SO WHAT ?
Make localized versions if necessary, i don't care, do anything necessary so games don't get progressively raped by the child-friendly bullshit, we have ratings for fucks sake, use them.
It's funny how skyrim will release 1 year 7 days later when the video was posted.
After awhile, I got a little annoyed at the oblivion music while the guy was rapping.
On the topic of The Witcher... Sweden. That is all.
Good, so to solve all problems, move Bethesda Softworks to Sweden and rename it to "Göteborg Softworks".

So each time you killed a kid, he instantly turns into a skeleton?

That kind of reminds me that there are some children in my neighborhood being even more annoying than the children in fallout 3.
When I get the game, should I go with Bow and Sword or Magic and Sword?
I'd go with magic and sword due to the fact that the other dual wield combination is impossible.

Sorry for the sum-up. Anyway, I wonder how beastal children sound like. I mean when the Argonians sound like heavy smokers then I guess the children would be a higher pitched version of that.

Scandinavian game design is highly known to be VERY unorthodox.

The days after Oblivion, Sexius Hornius wrote the sequel.
Lifts-Her-Tail breaks spear, all spears on Nirn cease to exist, knowledge of spears and creating them are all gone.
