Think it's established that it's dragon bone or dragon scale, whatever it's called. The one made of crashed dragon refuse [editline]10th October 2011[/editline] Either that or its alligator skin, those murderers!
I very highly doubt they'd show one of the rarest and best armors in the game before release. I've been wrong before and I suppose it's possible that just seems like a bad move to me.
I can't be certain but I think it's female Orcish.
It's not Orcish. That material is most definitely scales (probably dragon) and not mail of any sort.
I very highly doubt they'd show one of the rarest and best armors in the game before release.
Scales - check Bones - check Dragon horns on the helmet and pauldrons - check I have a feeling daedric armor is still going to be the best and that it will remain a surprise. Being that dragon bone is made of, well, bone and skin, it may be that it provides the best protection for its weight ratio. Im thinking (and sort of hoping) that daedric will still be the heaviest and most protective armor.

I'm most excited for all of the other armors that aren't the standard Iron, Steel, Glass, Etc. All of the faction and guard specific crap, all of the unique stuff, you know?

Thats why I said crashed... like how a plane crashes, whats left is refuse... refuse that isn't poop.
I'm putting the manual in .doc form. Here's the first half or so, if you want to take a peek. http://filesmelt.com/dl/Manual.doc
Hmmm after seeing the manual I think I'm probably going to turn the HUD off or dim it if possible. It seems to fill out the screen with your whole bottom conveying quite a bit of information, as well as the compass taking up a good chunk of the the middle top of the screen (Though it's probably just from all the number labeling on the manual that it looks overtly cluttered)
I'm just gonna wait for Darnified UI
They look like Aligator Boots, man!
Skyrim is one of the 3 reasons I built a new PC. Skyrim, Arkham, and Saints Row. Skyrim mostly since it's a huge game. i5 2500k overclocked and sli'd gtx 460's. I am ready.
Ethereal weapons (ETHEREAL), the hope for crossbows, and massive-fucking-dragons. I really hope some of the dragons are immense, to give you that feeling of fighting something to be reckoned with. Like in Shadow of the Colossus, those flying Colossi were the funnest (to me) to fight as you couldn't simply shoot a bunch of arrows at them. Like all Colossi, you had to take it apart (referring to attacking different points of it. But, that'd be too clunky, clumsy, and difficult to implement into Skyrim I feel.)
I honestly thought there'd be more of a reaction to this. You realize this is a new type of dragon, right? This is fairly big seeing as it's only the third one they've shown.
Thats why I said crashed... like how a plane crashes, whats left is refuse... refuse that isn't poop.
i bet dragon poop is the ultimate armor

Also, is that a nest or something at the bottom right?
i bet dragon poop is the ultimate armor
Use it for fire fuel for making daedric stir-fry
Well shit. Don't I feel silly. I've been out of it all week, man. Disregard everything I have said, like all day. Or at least most of what I've said. Still there wasn't much talk about the dragon being new... only that it looked big and shit. It's got fins man, fins!
Apparently, there are multiple ways to own containers. Which means we can finally buy containers to stash our loot in without worrying about the box resetting. I'm thinking Banks. The International Bank of Tamriel, Skyrim Division.

I like.
Imagine Tamriel as the Earth, Skyrim as a country. Skyrim First National Bank. El Banco de Skyrim
I'm oddly disappointed that the manual confirms a New Vegas-esque Hardcore Mode is out of the picture.
Mods can fix that. I wish they find a way to implement mods for consoles.
They had that in New Vegas.
Yeah, they had it in Runescape. I never said it was a new concept.
Just preordered finally on steam. Now it's just there..taunting me...
Nirn is the planet, Tamriel is the continent and Skyrim is the country.
Wow, I just realized why they call it nirnroot now.
