Rob the bank in Armadillo, escape the lawmen, see someone waiting by the road, "These guys robbed a bank in Armadillo. Will you lend me your gun?", take stolen safe back to Armadillo for the reward, put on the bandana and steal it again.
Probably because it'd be hard to code without making the result look bad. And item randomization wouldn't be too fun if every item is randomized to the point where the only similarity is the name and general shape.
Actually, it could be coded, just without any very big changes. There would have to be limits, strict limits.
I don't know whether or not this is late but there is a leaked list of xbox achievements http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/elder-scrolls-v/achievements/

Glass armor is the best non-enchanted light armor, while daedric is the best non-enchanted heavy armor.
I just realized how much of a cunt my character is. I brought some bandit back from the dead just to soultrap them.

There will be a perk in Skyrim which makes all your enchanted items have soultrap, imagine dual wielding a weapon like what with the necromancers' revive spell!

I can't remember, but I thought in Oblivion you could use a large soul gem to capture a dinky soul from like a mud crab, and basically you wasted your large soul gem, yeah?

yeah, it goe sinto the smallest you have
,but theres a mod that fixes this.
every soul has a "filling %", and a Tiny Soul into a Grand is just 20% fill or so.
I just realized how careless I am at this game.
Create Nord Warrior.
Hit shit.
Repeat.

Why would he ask for 100 gold if he has a glass armor ?

My hope for the "crafting" was that there's just be like 5 "styles" of weapons and armor (so 5 armor models, 5 sword models) and it'd get a new skin depending on what material you make it out of, so you'd have like 90+ possible outcomes.
I think they are going the old route though, of just having a single "iron sword, glass sword" etc.

Just good business practice, building a sort of fake trust between him and his victims to the point where they believe he'll only ever take 100 measly coins and that he isn't really all that bad of a guy. A receipt would go even further to compound their trust.
Not exactly Skyrim related but any suggestions for traveling faster in Morrowind? I keep running back and fourth from the starting town to some bandit cove hauling off loot constantly. :saddowns:
Can someone guide me on how to make Oblivion MUCH better than the vanilla state?
I only want graphical overhaul.
I used this guide for my mod needs. Steps 4, 5, 6 and 8 are purely graphical, so you can pick anything you'd like from them. If you wan't to use all or most of them, there's going to be some conflicting so you'll need to use Wrye Bash and stuff. If you don't want to bother with that, you can just use Quarl's Texture Pack, Unique Landscapes, All Natural + Immersive Interiors, Enhanced Water, Darnified UI and then some of the body/face mods if you want (TNR and Natural Faces are pretty good for faces). Those shouldn't conflict.

I modded in a pair of "fancy running shoes" that make me run MUCH faster when I wear them.

Sorry had to do it :v:
Choose your next words with exceptional care.

Maybe I'll think about it, because holy shit it takes me like 3-5 minutes to go back and fourth, fucking heavy armor.

Mark and Recall :eng101:

Although that only helps going one way but oh well.

"FOR THE GLORY OF THE EMPEROR!"
And then Commissar could do nothing.
I haven't been keeping track: Has there been much in the way of info on whether or not Unarmed will have enough options to rival other weapon types in Skyrim?
I remember my fists being made out of pixie tears and the laughter of babies in Oblivion, but then when the on-same-engine-but-tampered-with Fallout games rolled around it was perfectly viable (not to mention fun as hell) to slaughter platoons of enemies with nothing but slapdash weaponry strapped to your knuckles and seething bloodlust trapped behind your eyes. And since we're heading into fantasy viking country here, I'd rather prefer the latter over the former.

Get familar with Morrowind's travel system. I found it pretty intuitive back in the day, but it can be confusing if you are used to fast travel.
Ways of getting around morrowind quickly:
1. Mark + Recall spells. Basically, its a teleport spell that lets you mark a location to teleport back to you, works anywhere at anytime (for the most part, doesn't work in special otherworldly areas.) I'd suggest getting the mod that makes it so you can mark/recall up to 10 or so locations depending on your alteration skill (or is it mysticism?)
You can find scrolls for this if you aren't a magic user, but they are rare.
2. Levitation. Much quicker to pass over mountains when you can just levitate over them. Only issue is the starting level levitation spells are not only expensive, but very slow.
3. Feather. You can find scrolls for this everywhere, but the spell itself is very cheap to learn. Extremely helpful when loot hording.
4. Scrolls of Almsivi Intervention or Divine Intervention. Stock up on these like potions, VERY IMPORTANT for travel both late and early game and VERY useful for getting out of tough situations or getting around. Fairly common. When you use one, it'll teleport you to the nearest Tribunal Temple (if you have Almisivi) or nearest Imperial Shrine (if you use Divine). These are usually located in major towns/settlements, so using one is a quick way to get back to one without having to backtrack. Note the starting town doesn't have either of these, so if you use one you'll probably find yourself in Fort Moonmoth of the Balmora temple.
5. Boots of Blinding Speed. You can get these early on but I forget where (look it up). Basically they make your character very fast, at the cost of being 100% blind. The blinding effect can be negated however later on in the game with a dispel constant effect enchantment I think. Or at least lessened.
6. Level up athletics/speed, or start a character that specilized in this. You don't have to worry about over-levelling non-combat skills unlike in Oblivion, as a large section of monster generators aren't leveled anyways. A good chunk of them are, but within limits (i.e. at high level it'll spawn 2-4 baddies outside of Caldera instead of just one or something, and you'll never find high level creatures like Atronochs away from Daedric shrines/Red Mountain).
7. Use mods that increase the default running speed, which is painfully slow if you aren't leveled in it.
8. Use Boats and Silt Striders to fast travel to distant towns/cities, pretty much the defacto way to get around the island. Note that a strider/boat port will only take you to 3-4 or so towns that are connected to that specific port, so if you need to get to the other side of the map it'll take you several trips
9. An alternate, use mages guild teleport services to teleport between all the mages guilds in the world
10. If you are the adventuring type, there are Propylon chambers that connect in a big circle around the island. To use one you need an Index, which are hidden around the world. These are a great option if you are close to a propylon chamber and are high level, as these often are located in the middle of the wilderness, and frequently in areas where there are higher level enemies in or around them.
11. Finally, find potions/scrolls/etc that boost your speed/athletics temporarily to get a speed bonus.
This is why I don't like fast travel and why I feel morrowind did it perfectly - you had almost a dozen options of getting around places quick, half of them are pretty easy to learn to use and find, and the others are aweseome little high end tricks to getting around quick that just make you feel bad ass. I'm glad skyrim is having caravans at least so we can FT between major towns if we want, but it's hardly a replacement to how well thought out Morrowind's non-fast travel based system was.
Okay, late as shit because I've been sleeping all day but to add to the race conversation from last page, who the hell actually chooses a race to go with their play style? All racial bonuses to starting attributes and skills are trivial at best, like instead of 10 you may get 15. Shit does not matter at all. Making a stealthy orc is just as easy as making a warrior wood elf. You might as well just start with the one you like most.
Can someone add me on steam? I don't know shit about what I'm doing with this Orc Warrior and I want him to be great.
I'm not so sure about this game, I couldn't get into Oblivion because of all the boring quests, boring combat, shitty voice acting, everybody looking hideously ugly, etc. Will I like this game? Or should I not bother?
