:v: [editline]13th October 2011[/editline] I don't remember if the Original game had this, but with this one mod that adds the Third Person Anims into First Person (also lets you see your torso) My hand actually blocks my view during a sand-storm, really cool with Depth of Field Uploaded with ImageShack.us [editline]13th October 2011[/editline] Protip, also added helmet FOV (the little thing on the top of my view)
That's what I loved of Morrowind, in Ash Storms your character really put his hand in front of his face. It was so damn immersive (is that even a word?), yet it aged badly. Gotta re-install mah Morrowind, Rahksi, any hope for a revival of our Modpack?
I swear to god all these beard jokes are getting old. I'm going to rip the fucking beard off anyone I see in this game.
http://www.bethblog.com/index.php/2011/10/13/jeff-vs-sam-ii-the-skyrim-speedrun/ okay, this is badass.
They said the main storyline would be 20 hours without any side-quests. If that's true, then this is really impressive!
It's certainly longer than the Morrowind speedrun.
They said the main storyline would be 20 hours without any side-quests. If that's true, then this is really impressive!
In speed runs alone it's longer, hell, Morrowind took less than 10 minutes on a proper speed run.
In speed runs alone it's longer, hell, Morrowind took less than 10 minutes on a proper speed run.
Is there a video of it? I'm just wondering.

Fuck you Xbox 360 for fucking up my save on my best character. The save before that has a 4 hour difference in save time.

WHAT THE FUCK
I was meant to shave a few days ago but I've decided to hold off until Skyrim comes out.
I haven't shaved for 2 months.
i haven't shaved for years, ofcourse beard doesn't grow on me yet :(
So FPers for Morrowind I already have a small amount for mods for the modpack, aimed at basically immersion and making the original game feel better. (So no this is not crysis2011morrowindgraphcispack2020) Basically, I have Better Heads/Better Bodies, HD Font replacer (makes it much easier to read everything), Better Clothes, High-Res Books/Scrolls (So that blurry shit isn't all in your face), 1st Person Enhanced (Headbob and various other tweaks to FPS view and lets you see your torso), Lights 300 (Enhances the game lighting and replaces all those colored candles that gave off generic light with new unique ones, like red ones will now cast a red glow). I have some other small mods, like added Healers, a very small mana-regen (based on willpower) and HD weapons (besides katanas). But I'm curious of what you guys think I should look for or try adding

There's one thing you can take from that video even if you're not gonna speed run and that is the platter trick, gives you a massive boost at the start of the game. Though I am surprised he didn't grab the ice(Or was it fire?) axe in starter area.
In the Bethesda Speed Run Challenge, they actually do every quest. (Evey main quest) It's not a cheating speed run where you make fucking flying potions and fly straight to the end boss or take advantage of the game in any way, they just run really damn fast. Also, I imagine why the speed run is so difficult this time around is because of Dragons, assuming they're focusing on time and not really leveling, Dragons were probably kicking their ass left and right.
Humm, this looks familiar, Anyone else see this? Minecrafts Jeb Random ginger guy on Skyrim Speedrun pics I sense a conspiricy...
Don't link this with minecraft, people will make lawsuit jokes.
The ender scrolls
It's probably Bethesda's way of saying "sorry our lawyers are dicks."
Since gingers have no souls, they have the ability to turn themselves into dust and drift off into wherever they want to go.
So, any info on how big the map will be?
So, any info on how big the map will be?
About the size of Oblivion's map I think, but with more detail since terrain generation is out.
So, any info on how big the map will be?
About the size of Cyrodill apparently
wops, I meant the burlap/paper map
It's probably Bethesda's way of saying "sorry our lawyers are dicks."
The lawsuit, while stupid, does make sense. Basically, if Bethesda doesn't fight now about the use of "Scrolls" that gives Notch the opportunity to further exploit the name, say by naming the sequel "The Oldest Scrolls" or something along those lines. Basically, by acting now, they are preventing future infringement. The whole things is silly and neither Mojang nor Bethesda Game Studios want to be a part of it, but they don't have a choice because it's Bethesda Softworks' business, and from a business stand-point, it does make sense. And that's all I care to say about that.
Bigger than Oblivions, I hope. I know it was kind of big, but taking into consideration how it was supposed to be an entire country, it was extremely small. The cities as well. And the mountains. I know that it was probably the technological limits, and the fact that travelling would have been even more tedious, but it kind of ruins the immersion for me.

More like states.

If that even was Jeb, I can imagine why they'd invite him and not Markus. "I'm going to Bethesda and play Skyrim. Weeeeeee"
It's certainly longer than the Morrowind speedrun.
You can speedrun morrowind in like 15 minutes if you really cut corners and go straight to killing dagoth ur.
