Morrowind has so shitty graphics that your computer will crash just because it looks so shit. The combat is probably the worst in the history of video games. And yeah, it's turn based, like the classic Fallouts. And the main story is really crappy too.
Don't get it.
Good job I almost thought you weren't trolling, almost.

That maybe?
Maybe not up to par with Crysis, but it looks pretty nice.

Here is the official morrowind overhaul site: http://morrowindoverhaul.net/blog/
Demonstration of graphics (slightly out of date):

Preorder of Skyrim is complete. Let the waiting begin.
Anything to call me down in the meantime?
There's a make-a-bar thread on the BethSoft foru. My contribution is The Skooma Cat. A tavern dedicated to Skooma, Sheogorath, and all things mad. Its patrons and staff are mostly Kahjiit but not exclusively. Price for a room is whatever the owner feels like at the time and your furniture may be moved around at night, even if you're in it. The pub's finests include lettuce, yarn, calipers, and of course Skooma. If you're lucky you may be bestowed a Colovian Fur Helm and paraded around the tavern.

Now I want to make a naive M'aiq the Liar type Kahjiit character in Oblivion...

Bethesda, I am disappoint
Real smart, hiding footage from 99% of the fans. Do they think people will buy on blind faith alone?

It's an Elder Scrolls game.
They just have to say "New Elder Scrolls game in development." and people will already be lining up for preorder.

What about people who have never played an Elder Scrolls game? Will their sales simply rely on fans of the series?

ermmm yeah, that's the idea and what most games developers do, sell the game to their fans.... and maybe try to get more people to play but mostly for fans.
Speaking of Morrowind last time I played it was when I was 14 or so, It took me half an hour to fight a rat on the first Fighter's guild quest and I still lost because half of the Time I wasn't hitting it, unless I was using a dagger, was that a problem with the game or was I being a really bad player?

Late by a page, rate me late if you want.
Neat
With regards to future DLC, Bethesda wants us to know that they won’t be repeating the “horse armor” fiasco from 2006. As well, they aren’t really looking at repeating the same DLC format that they did with Fallout 3. According to Bethesda, they would like to release fewer, but larger, DLC packages, more akin to the now extinct Expansion Packs that we used to see for PC games.
Yay I miss expansion packs
Like Shivering Isles or (hopefully) longer? I'm in.

Four dragons that won't be in Skyrim.
Pity, I think they'd fit in perfectly!
Like Shivering Isles or (hopefully) longer? I'm in.
It'd be ridiculous if they didn't include atleast a SI sized expansion. I can't think of where'd it be, though. :v:
Maybe they could make an expansion that takes place in Cyrodiil with dynamic gates from Hell based off of the dragon system.
How does LOD stand for distant landscapes unless you read it backwards and add something begining with o in the middle?
length of draw, it means distant landscapes
Are you stupid.
Not a question. You didn't put a ? so your argument is invalid.
length of draw, it means distant landscapes
Well at least I now know what the initials mean.

At the beginning its always like this. Later on, it'll change. Unless you made your character the wrong way. Like putting everything in strength and axe and then using a bow and arrow or dagger.

Call them expansion packs and I'm in heaven.
In an effort to reduce the time I spend online I ill restrict my browsing to the LMAO pics thread until I have more free time that's actually free and not me just putting off work. So bye for now.

Level of Detail actually
Well at least I now know what the initials mean.
he's wrong, it's Level of Detail
basically the level of detail of things decreases as you move further away in order to increase performance while still looking visually appealing
[editline]22nd July 2011[/editline]
fuck
Any new videos since E3?
So what's the story with the Horse Armor thing? Sorry, but I'm new to the series.
At some kind of Oblivion DLC offer every DLC (SI not included, that's an EP!) prices were halfed.
Guess what got its price doubled and still got the most dl's.
Where can we pre-order this?
Also, does anyone have any idea if I should get the disk version or the steam version?
Disk version:
+You can install it on multiple computers (I think)
+Comes with some sweet swag (especially pre-order)
+More money to the developers
-If I lose/crack the disk, no luck
Steam
+It's pretty much safe unless steam shuts down
+Multiple computers without need of the disk
+Faster download, and possibly that download before midnight deal
-No pre-order swag
The big question: Can I active this product on steam and own it?
Buy the physical disk, make a backup copy ISO.

Or buy Steam and ctrl+c ctrl+v the folder :D
