At the beginning its always like this. Later on, it'll change. Unless you made your character the wrong way. Like putting everything in strength and axe and then using a bow and arrow or dagger. [editline]22nd July 2011[/editline] Call them expansion packs and I'm in heaven.
I was young back then so I couldn't understand half the shit in the game (Also note my nationality, I couldn't understand some of the words back then), I took the quick test thingy and when I didn't like it I changed it to the thing that had the best name. So yeah I think I was doing it wrong :v:. Will be buying it off steam when I get a chance, unless I manage to find the old disc I had and lost.
So what's the story with the Horse Armor thing? Sorry, but I'm new to the series.
Oblivion came out in 2006, and it released with launch DLC which at the time was pretty rare. The DLC were two armored horses. People were angry at both the fact they were charging for horse armor, and that it wasn't included in the actual game and was created solely for DLC purposes. Of course nowadays launch day DLC is a common thing and people buy it up like hotcakes.
I hope Skyrim plays like oblivion, but I also would not mind if it had a Dark Messiah Might and Magic type sword action.
Honestly I can't stand combat in Oblivion. It's the one thing that keeps me from playing it for a decent amount of time.
You could get it at launch?! I had the collector's edition! Why did I never get horse armor!
You could get it at launch... for extra money. edit: strange people on this forum... get voted funny and dumb on comments that aren't. :S
Honestly I can't stand combat in Oblivion. It's the one thing that keeps me from playing it for a decent amount of time.
I think it's kinda fun. The only things I dislike (so far) is that pressing a hotkey bound to a spell will make that your active spell instead of automatically casting it, and that the numpad numbers can't be used as hotkeys, even with numlock.
Hypno-toad Late DOES NOT COMPUTE
I dont think I am, the article was posted yesterday. You may be thinking of when they said they'd be making Fallout 3 style DLCs. They've retracted that statement and made a new one in that news article.
Why hasn't Bethesda released more information about Argonians, or at least an in game screenshot! I must see. I was really digging the ESV Concept Art for them, but I must SEE it for myself. I miss the Dinosaur Looking ones, Oblivion's overly Humanoid ones were terrible.
Bethesda is purposely holding back the argonians because they are everybody's favorite. :20bux: says it's the last one they show
Skyrim will probably be steamworks. Last couple of Bethesda published games have been.
Bethesda is purposely holding back the argonians because they are everybody's favorite. :20bux: says it's the last one they show
They were the only decent looking race is Oblivion so I can guess these look even better.
Well the human faces in Oblivion just sucked so it's not hard to top. Its easier to make a cool looking lizard man than a realistic (or at least cartoonishly appealing) human.

Green (with variation), Scaly, (possibly) smily and afcourse don't forget the tongue. Speaking of tongues, we should be able to use it as a frog. Also V.

And with a bow, I'll shoot them like, 5 times for a total of 2% damage and by then they're already in my face slapping my tits off. I'll never forget when I first played the game and I was maybe 3 hours into it, and I was walking from that ruin near Imperial City and a fucking necromancer started chasing me in her shitty ass robes with a Daedric bound weapon summoning imps and shit to attack me. I literally ran all the fucking way to Imperial City for the guards to attack them because I couldn't do shit. [editline]July 22, 2011[/editline] And those fucking Clanfears at Kvatch took a shit on my forehead, too.

I also never use a bow and arrows. I guess I am playing the game wrong.
So what's the story with the Horse Armor thing? Sorry, but I'm new to the series.
The people saying horse armor was available at launch are wrong. The DLC was released about a month after the game itself. The controversy was mainly due to microtransactions being a very young concept at the time. Many gamers were opposed to the idea of microtransactions entirely since they viewed it as a way for companies to squeeze more money out of gamers. Bethesda basically confirmed everyone's fears by making their first DLC tiny (only two sets of armor, and even then horses don't play a huge role in the game) and still charging $2.50 for it. This confirmed a lot of gamers' fears: that the small amounts of additional content that gamers usually expected for free were going to be released as overpriced DLC. Luckily it was mostly overreaction and later DLC took a different, more favorable direction.
http://pc.ign.com/articles/118/1182286p1.html?_cmpid=ign18 Four dragons that won't be in Skyrim.
Oh Bethesda. STOP FUCKING AROUND WITH EMAILS AND FINISH SKYRIM
Oh Bethesda. STOP FUCKING AROUND WITH EMAILS AND FINISH SKYRIM
it's a parody.
My PC is finally fixed. After 2 months of waiting scan decided they had trolled me enough and said I could have any 6870 from their site. So I chose the Sapphire 6870 Toxic. Its slightly overclocked and has better cooler so all in all I got a bit of an upgrade.
Reptiles are almost never slimy.
Reptilians are. Never watched V?
Buy the physical disk, make a backup copy ISO.
That's a good point. Also, if you buy the game, is it illegal to download an iso off the internet? I can't remember about that. Also, adding less piracy detection wouldn't hurt Bethesda. Pirates will crack it either way, and it ends up being only a hindrance to users. However, I love the Elder Scrolls games so much I would buy a copy no matter what.

Yet if you don't own the game you must delete the .iso after 24 hours after pirating it. I delete my .iso's alright after 2 hours. That is after the install and getting cracked. No need for the .iso. Also Oblivion/F3 didn't have ANY anti piracy dude. Mounting the .iso is enough :v: .
Yet if you don't own the game you must delete the .iso after 24 hours after pirating it.
Wait, what, which jurisdication allows for something like this [editline]23rd July 2011[/editline] I mean, that just sounds like the kinda stuff people would personally do, not like some absolute rule

If they decided to prosecute, you could easily argue how silly it is and have it thrown out. I'm fairly sure it's illegal to download, (while I dislike the idea behind it.) as one might buy a game at release, make a backup, and sell the copy immediately.
Now and days, you don't own the game but a license to play the full version. Basically, it's illegal to download regardless if you have a disc or not.

I'll pass it down to my children, who will play that instead of their newfangled wii v31 virtual reality machines.
Oh Bethesda. STOP FUCKING AROUND WITH EMAILS AND FINISH SKYRIM
Its a parody. And if it wasnt, Skyrim is released 11.11.11 and nothing is gonna make it come sooner. even if its already done.
I'll pass it down to my children, who will play that instead of their newfangled wii v31 virtual reality machines.
What are you talking about? You will never have children.
Supposedly old gameplay trailer now with added sound: Pretty graphics but on the whole I think it looks too much of the same. The combat looks as unsatisfying as Oblivion's and dragon fights look immensely boring.
