Do you guys think a Radeon HD 6670 will be able to run this game on high? I already got a good enough processor and a bunch of RAM.

You can find out on November 11.
Okay thanks I guess...

No sorry, you're gonna need AT LEAST 1 gtx 590 to run this game on the lowest settings. 2 if you want to ease into medium.
according to everyone in this thread the recommended specs will be a 470, 6GBs of RAM and a 3GHZ hexacore
according to everyone in this thread that's not retarded (mostly me) it'll probably be slightly higher than oblivion, something like an 8800GT, 2gbs of RAM and a 2.4GHz dualcore
you'll run it on high just fine
Clearly you haven't seen the nexus, or you would know that mods are for introducing naked anime girls into your game.
I'm aware of that, yet there are some graphical mods too.
Yeah honestly if this game is well optimized it won't be much more demanding than Oblivion.
'there's nothing wrong with it except all the core gameplay mechanics'
Seriously oblivion doesn't feel as unique and the main quest is pretty badly written, but it makes up for that by not having as many obvious, deep seated flaws as its predecessor. Most of the quests in oblivion are better too, particularly the guild quests where most of the time you don't feel like you've been sent on a generic 'go here and kill this person' quest, unlike morrowind.
There were plenty of interesting quests in MW. A lot of faction quests when you start out though don't have you do much except aquire various artifacts, escort a faction member, look up information, etc. Basically grunt work from the higher ups.
Honestly I almost prefer it that way though. It makes more sense for you to do "grunt work" (that isn't really all that work-like for the most part anyways, its not like you have to grind on these quests) as a lower-level faction member, vs. in Oblivion where everyone kind of leaned on you from the get go to be savior for X plotline. The best part about it was how the progression into the faction was non-linear. If you didn't like collecting flowers for the Balmora Alchemist's journyman project, you could easily skip that and take a different quest from a different guildhall to still continue in your rank. It made all the factions and faction members feel very belivable IMO. Some guildhalls had higher-level quests on average than others, so after a while you'd move away from "Balmora" being your home and where you'd go to visit your local Mages Guild Chapter to maybe Ald-Ruhn or Vivec.
Personally I thought Oblivion's faction "linear storylines" were very ham-fisted. The thing is, a linear story is only good if the characters surrounding it and the plot surrounding it is intriguing. Oblivion's factions were a far cry from that (I never did do the DB questline though, and I do hear that they really nailed that). It made being apart of a faction not feel like a faction, and instead made it feel more like you just being a mercenary in extraordinary circumstances of events. I would have much preferred Morrowind's system, even if some of the faction progression quests were more mundane.
The perfect system IMO would be a mix between an over-arching faction conflict, and Morrowind's more "realistic" faction system. Being able to progress naturally and non-linearly through the ranks, but as you go further, more and more of faction's conflicts and issues start to become your personal conflicts if you choose to dedicate yourself to the faction. And keeping the "mundane" tasks to low-level. But, to make it so it isn't tedium, giving the players freedom of choice in how they want to progress, and making the simpler task much quicker to complete. I want to feel security leveling up and gaining modest rewards from simple tasks when I am a lower level, but being able to do more serious tasks that actually involve a real sense of commitment and difficulty, if my faction superiors trust me enough.
Though we all know Skyrim's faction system is going to mirror Oblivion's. I just hope this time all of them are actually intriging enough on a whole to make me feel less like I am questing for the hell of it and more like a faction.
Note that there are mods out there for MW though where you can jump up ranks instantly in factions after X amount of reputation or levels gathered, so if you decide to join the Mages Guild at level 30 after you beat the MQ they won't be all "Lol collect flowers in this low level place!!"
Thrawn2787 you're an idiot, this is a game designed for the Xbox 360's hardware, his video card can easily run this game on high.
You're an idiot if you don't know that you're gonna need 4 580s playing outside on Hoth to max this game
Don't forget high heels and short skirts, ALWAYS about the high heels and short skirts.
high heels and short skirts are hot, just not when they're presented as part of a square headed anime character in a game famed for its terrible, unsexy animations
if anyone actually managed to get off to sexlivion they're a more patient man than I
I'm honestly expecting to be able to max it with a gtx 460. I don't think it will be as demanding as everyone is saying it will be.

How about a HD 4850, Athalon X2, and 2GB of RAM?
System requirements should be here anytime this week. We'll see
So uuuh... Do you think my Nvidia 9800 gtx is gonna handle it good enough?
Sorry about posting specs and asking like this. I actually SUCK at computers.

The textures here look kind of bad here, but I can look past it for two reasons:
1. This is a console screenshot
2. Its got dynamic shadows, which is something NO OTHER BETHESDA GAME has. I just hope the angle of the sun dynamically changes the shadows, which could make areas look different depending on the time of day. Could be cool.
EDIT:
And that closed helmet looks pretty cool. I wonder if Khajiits and Argonians can wear it, or if it "Stretches" for them
im definitely gonna start heading to Riften when i get this. i love the fall kinda season in it

I wonder if we'll see M'aiq the Liar.

There's no way that we won't.

Morrowind's quest style is definitely preferable to Oblivion's, it just added to the already insane amount of immersion in that game. In Morrowind you never really feel larger than life, even during the main quest where you're the "savior of the world" you still feel pretty weak and insignificant compared to the larger forces at work. In Oblivion right from the get-go, no matter which quest line you do, you're the most important person in the room. That's why I found Oblivion to only be immersive when essentially ignoring all the major plotlines. I really hope Skyrim takes more pages from Morrowind in this regard.
