Don't judge me.

[img]http://tesnexus.com/downloads/images/13437-1-1298340308.jpg[/img] I like the hat.
Finally deciding to give Morrowind a real shot. Anyone got any suggestions before I finish downloading? Typically I prefer a magic character but would anyone recommend anything else, etc?
The game needs a story line.......... You'd rather just be a random dude that speaks dragon?
[QUOTE=Nipper;32840128]Should i get Skyrim on PS3 or PC? Agree - Ps3 Disagree - PC[/QUOTE] Getting both cos only PS3 collector's available here. TOTALLY WORTH IT.
[QUOTE=stepat201;32838939]Not surprising the whole "sister will take over the quest" thing was untrue. Oh well, I'm predicting day 1 mods to remove this.[/QUOTE] uh I highly doubt that feature is implemented for every quest that guy's probably part of a major quest and it's not a good gameplay experience to not be able to complete a major questline because you killed some random guy ages ago [editline]18th October 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=JerryK;32840560]i dunno if anyone else noticed this, but the ending of the trailer for the new movie Immortals is extremely similar to the ending of the Skyrim trailers [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VdONYkKFmQ[/media][/QUOTE] fucking christ that looks like a terrible movie

If you don´t know how the magic system works, basically your fatigue together with your spell skill determines the chance your spell will succeed casting. Your magica won't regenerate passively either, you must either sleep or drink potions.

You have a button that's called "ready spell" and it brings out your hands and sheathes your weapon away.
[QUOTE=Atlascore;32835668]I agree 100%. I don't understand why people think you're going to need a super computer to run this game above low. Skyrim isn't BF3, here's what I mean: [IMG]http://www.egmnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Battlefield-3-specs.png[/IMG][/QUOTE] By the looks of it I can run it on the lowest possible Hey it's something
[QUOTE=Kirbyfactor;32841801]By the looks of it I can run it on the lowest possible [/QUOTE] That Powerpoint presentation is about/for BF3
[QUOTE=Rong;32842178]That Powerpoint presentation is about/for BF3[/QUOTE Kinda obvious because it talks about multiplayer... :(
Say, speaking of Elder Scrolls, imagine if you could duel people like in Diablo, and end up claiming their ears. And then you walk down the street, only to meet a guard you duelled earlier, who says the words "You have my ear, citizen". Much rejoicing would be had that day.

So, am I mistaken or from recent previews it would seem re-animated corpses don't have a particular time limit before they un-animate again, and stick around until they're killed? That'd be awesome.
[QUOTE=Aerkhan;32841082]So. Nexus hating time. [img]http://tesnexus.com/downloads/images/35978-2-1294377914.jpg[/img][/QUOTE] I like this one. Bike texture needs work, though. Just like Facepunch to rate me dumb just for having a dissenting opinion.
[QUOTE=Zar;32841573]The game needs a story line.......... You'd rather just be a random dude that speaks dragon?[/QUOTE] No amount of boxes can represent the dumbness in that post.
[QUOTE=Aerkhan;32843028]No amount of boxes can represent the dumbness in that post.[/QUOTE] Personal preference... don't be stupid and rate him box because he likes it.
[QUOTE=SoUl_ReApEr2;32843090]Personal preference... don't be stupid and rate him box because he likes it.[/QUOTE] Isn't that what ratings are for :S?
[QUOTE=Aerkhan;32841082][url]http://tesnexus.com/downloads/images/28979-2-1316269531.jpg[/url][/QUOTE] What the... anyway, you should probably remove the image tags, NSFW.
Hey any one heard about the dragon born words, here is something good you can charge the word's or just press the button, so example I just press the button to use a dragon shout really quickly once, it will say Fust witch means force according to Tom Howard, If i hold it for another second to charge it will do Fust ra witch means, Force Balance so if you charge it to the max it does Fust Ra daw, Here the video on the dragon shouts its Yong who did trailer parody. [QUOTE=SoUl_ReApEr2;32843090]Personal preference... don't be stupid and rate him box because he likes it.[/QUOTE] What the fuck are you talking about.
[QUOTE=Aerkhan;32843534]What the fuck are you talking about.[/QUOTE] You and others are rating him dumb because you and the others like being just a random character in the world rather than the last of a certain race/ability, or in other words "you like the game how you like and I like it how I like it" so don't rate because your opinion differs from the others.
That's exactly what ratings are there for. Instead of posting, "oh you're so dumb and I disagree/find your post dumb." You can rate him and save the flaming.

To reiterate [QUOTE=KorJax;32835750]There were plenty of interesting quests in MW. A lot of faction quests when you start out though don't have you do much except aquire various artifacts, escort a faction member, look up information, etc. Basically grunt work from the higher ups. Honestly I almost prefer it that way though. It makes more sense for you to do "grunt work" (that isn't really all that work-like for the most part anyways, its not like you have to grind on these quests) as a lower-level faction member, vs. in Oblivion where everyone kind of leaned on you from the get go to be savior for X plotline. The best part about it was how the progression into the faction was non-linear. If you didn't like collecting flowers for the Balmora Alchemist's journyman project, you could easily skip that and take a different quest from a different guildhall to still continue in your rank. It made all the factions and faction members feel very belivable IMO. Some guildhalls had higher-level quests on average than others, so after a while you'd move away from "Balmora" being your home and where you'd go to visit your local Mages Guild Chapter to maybe Ald-Ruhn or Vivec. Personally I thought Oblivion's faction "linear storylines" were very ham-fisted. The thing is, a linear story is only good if the characters surrounding it and the plot surrounding it is intriguing. Oblivion's factions were a far cry from that (I never did do the DB questline though, and I do hear that they really nailed that). It made being apart of a faction not feel like a faction, and instead made it feel more like you just being a mercenary in extraordinary circumstances of events. I would have much preferred Morrowind's system, even if some of the faction progression quests were more mundane. The perfect system IMO would be a mix between an over-arching faction conflict, and Morrowind's more "realistic" faction system. Being able to progress naturally and non-linearly through the ranks, but as you go further, more and more of faction's conflicts and issues start to become your personal conflicts if you choose to dedicate yourself to the faction. And keeping the "mundane" tasks to low-level. But, to make it so it isn't tedium, giving the players freedom of choice in how they want to progress, and making the simpler task much quicker to complete. I want to feel security leveling up and gaining modest rewards from simple tasks when I am a lower level, but being able to do more serious tasks that actually involve a real sense of commitment and difficulty, if my faction superiors trust me enough. Though we all know Skyrim's faction system is going to mirror Oblivion's. I just hope this time all of them are actually intriging enough on a whole to make me feel less like I am questing for the hell of it and more like a faction. [/QUOTE]

I'm all for playing the game how you like, when you like and in what way you like. But... My god... THERE ARE BOUNDARIES.
