The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim V5: But there is one they fear - Dragon porn!

I understand you like to play how you like, but just because someone else doesn't like it doesn't mean to rate him dumb, I love choice and freedom, but I also like the story behind the game too, you guys are twice as bad as Rusty100, "oh you have an opinion that differs to mine, YOU'RE A DICK!"
So it turns out that I either heard wrong or something but I will not be going to Disneyland on skyrim's release date. So thank goodness.
Heres the plan,
I don't buy Skyrim on release date.
Wait for Christmas break to start,
Spend the next month playing Skyrim literally non-stop.
I feel like if I buy Skyrim on release date, it will screw me during my finals cause I'll be busy with Skyrim :v:
I read that in Dr. Evil's voice.
enjoy the game bro

It's not about playing how you like, it's how the game treats you, going from someone who feels like they are a nobody in a big, wild and dangerous world to gradually finding out you're the hero, is a much better and immersive experience than having it all dropped in your lap.
I see what you mean by that too, but it's not hard to either remove that or just ignore it, I love being a farmer in the lands, or a simple trader between cities, but what i'm saying is can't we all be friends and like the game how we like it :3 <3
It's an RPG game, so the story and how it is delivered is kind of essential, just because you can freeroam, doesn't mean the story should be less engaging.
My desktop is ready.

I know what you mean, you'd rather not people be forcing you to stop the dragons or closing the oblivion gates that it's all your problem, you'd rather it be gradual and maybe not to impactful(?) maybe people that do other stuff for you that the quest is not as serious, I do, really do understand, but all I want is friends :(

Crap, seems like I have to go beck searching around DeviantArt and doodling with their code and pictures, yet again. My rainmeter skins folder isn't ready for this! Also, where can I get that white Akatosh symbol? Is it part of your wallpaper?

Thats entirely not what I'm saying at all. It's not about forcing someone to do the quests, it's when they do the quests they should be immersive and engaging not just handed to you. And no, it's not about not impactful or anything it's about feeling like you've earned and accomplished and become something, rather than just immediately be the hero.
You're not understanding me at all.
You and others are rating him dumb because you and the others like being just a random character in the world rather than the last of a certain race/ability, or in other words "you like the game how you like and I like it how I like it" so don't rate because your opinion differs from the others.
You didn't read the post did you.

I vectorized it myself, as a matter of fact, so here it is for your use:

(Just open it up in Photoshop to vectorize and size to your heart's content)
I am, but you're just genuinly being an ass like the rest of the people in here.

Morrowind: Get off the Prison boat, arrive, do whatever you want, you're practically a nobody until you get further along the quest.
Oblivion: Get out of prison, get your hands on the most important artefact in Cyrodil, start doing heroy things (in the main quest) right away, I mean hell, practically the 2nd or 3rd mission, you've turned back an evil invasion, entered hell and survived and come out all sunshine and roses.

You really aren't. And being an Ass? Well, unlike you, I'm actually adressing issues of the game, not attacking the people who play it and calling them names.

Yes I do know what you mean, I feel the same please understand what i'm trying to say I genuinly do know what you mean, just annoys me that people rate people/whine at people because they like to play the game how they got it.
No you really don't understand at all, at least not from what you've put. Frankly, you're the ass here for attacking me.

Could you upload the PSD file?
You replied to me, i'm trying to explain that the others are being asses for hating someone elses opinion.
Someone should probably find a sarcastic answer as a solution to this minor shitstorm.
I shall stop, Raven will you be a man too and just let our opinions/stuff to the side and carry on, I will have more respect for you if you do.

Really, looks like you directly called me an ass.

I will, once you apologise to me for calling me an ass, which was uncalled for as I neither had a go at you, nor called you or anyone else for that matter names.
You aren't an ass which I am sorry for but the others for rating/whining at the other guy for liking a game for how it came is stupid was all I was implying, but again I am sorry <3.

I wish I had a desktop like this D:
to play oblivion or to not play oblivion before skyrim is released
Could you upload the PSD file?
Unfortunately I don't have it anymore. I only have these raw vector files. You can just paste that .pdf into an open Photoshop file and it lets you import it into the file.
As for the layout, the Akatosh logo is a separate skin, the wallpaper uses Windows' slideshow wallpaper thingy to rotate faded screenshots from Skyrim.
I'm trying to decide what kind of character I'll make for my first play-through of Skyrim. I tried out a pure mage on Oblivion but had difficulty getting into it. I like the idea of stealth but I also love just jumping in and beating the shit out of everyone.

I have been.

24 days and counting... Reminding you how long this is.
It's pretty insane how close we are to release already. I sort of completely stopped thinking of Skyrim altogether after a while, only skimming the FP thread once in a while and reading through the SA thread for a quick laugh, and it payed off.
But goddammit this is going to be a long 24 days.
I really hope that being in the dark brotherhood rewards you for killing people more, now that there are more people to kill. By the way, I know you can use caravans to fast travel, but can you ambush them too? Or is it going to be like oblivion where no one uses the roads except bandits and monsters?
I want to be one of the reasons guards tell you not to use the roads at night.

The sucky thing about Oblivion was that despite being a big hero, you were still treated like a nobody by almost everyone you met. Apart from the odd "you're the hero of kvatch!" line from an NPC, you got very little recognition for the huge things you did.
