I'm going to start a loving family then half way through the marriage I'm going to kill her and make her my zombie then we will go on quests together as nord and zombie wife.
My biggest worry isn't "will it be as good as they say it will?" because there's no doubt this will be GOTY. My biggest worry is "will this be well-ported so I can actually play this?" Seems like every game that's released on both PC and consoles nowadays is unplayable even on a relatively good PC.
Soon.. Very soon..

I also hope for ways to have multiple zombies. For I will have a zombie chicken army that shall be unstoppable.
Fuck your chickens. I've got zombie Mammoths.
Since you guys like necromancy so much: http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-collectors-edition/1200569p1.html
God damn I want it to be next month

Well from the sounds of it we get to cast it multiple times on the same target + I'm thinking conjuration can increase how long they last. Maybe you can upgrade it so they last forever? (Probably not.)
I'm thinking about actually completing the mainquest in Oblivion before the release of skyrim. I have played like 70-80 hours of Oblivion, but I was a total tit and corrupted my savegame, so I never completed the last quater of it I think. I like to use a brutal melee oriented character, so do you have any suggestion for a good, brutal and more realistic combat mod that will make the combat more entertaining this time around?
http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-collectors-edition/1200569p1.html
I just remembered that NPCs are confirmed to be tactile (run away when they are hit, pick up more powerful weapons). I like the fact that you can take advantage of this with companions/summoned creatures/reanimated zombies.
Hmm. Should I cancel my Steam Skyrim pre-order? On one hand, I'm already getting the CE. On the other, cancelling my Steam pre-order probably means not being able to play on release date.
Same day release date delivery through amazon.com Not sure if they operate outside of the US, though.
Deadly Reflex?
He said entertaining.
Guys, remember those lyrics i wrtoe a couple of pages ago.....they're getting sung!
Fuck your chickens.
:( [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] I should probably buy this already huh? College is using all my money up though... Selling myself for Skyrim!
Less groundbreaking but its got a normal skeleton (minion?) and that wizard ponce looks like a necromancer judging by the black robe and hood
A bit beside the point, but the player just takes that axe to the face like a True Nord.
A bit beside the point, but the player just takes that axe to the face like a True Nord.
That's one of the main things I'm disappointed about.. both enemies and the players still seem to react in a really minimal way when they're hit but I guess Elder Scrolls has always had meh combat even if this is an improvement.
Wrote some more lyrics again too, this time comedy ones. M'aiq, the Liar, He will never tell you truth. Always lies, or the things, that you want to hear. He no longer has any fish sticks, or spears. He is sad. He knows much, so he says Though some how, you doubt that And his hat, it is gone, and now he feels sad. Now he walks away, somewhere on his feet, M'aiq.
My Fantasy is complete
What the FUCKKKKK I'm paying $200 for a dragon while you get a mug that's infinitely better?
My Fantasy is complete
Those actually look like really nice mugs.
Those actually look like really nice mugs.
Those actually look like really nice pictures of each side of the same mug. Fixed :P
For me, Skyrim is a superior title to Battlefield 3 Mod tools, dont fail me now Bethesda
I hope we'll get the same ol' construction set, just with a few changes for the engine. Because I love that contruction set.
So there are no good close combat mods for Oblivion?
So there are no good close combat mods for Oblivion?
Deadly Reflex is good, especially 6 if you can get it to work properly. It replaces all the animations with every weapon and makes hits actually feel like they connect. Bows feel like they actually shoot arrows too, rather than fling a wightless stick at the enemies. It also makes weapons do more damage and adds horse combat, shield bashing, kicks, throwing weapons and cool crits with decapitations and stuff based on a momentum system. It's pretty amazing. Just follow some guide and install everything required and you should get it working just fine. Otherwise it's just buggy as hell. I've had it for a while now and whenever I look at some gameplay without DR6, it just looks clunky and awkward.

Huge blood splatter, enemy staggers back, really gory fleshy hit sound, massive health loss.
What the FUCKKKKK I'm paying $200 for a dragon while you get a mug that's infinitely better?
mug is probably sturdier than the dragon tbh
