My friend is giving me morrowind today :D. Any "neccessary" mods or should i try vanilla first?
Here are the official Plug-ins. I don't believe they are included in the Steam version.
This isn't fable.
That's what I said. Time to do some bird hunting.
Im going to laugh when people realize that radiant story is just an interchangeable quest system. Its a smart system, but its nothing highly complex or innovative and you will see repetition. Like I said, it's a good system, but people are probably overestimating it. There's going to be a bunch of "quest templates" with dialogue recorded for the potential quest givers, and throughout each dungeon (or likewise, area of landscape) there'll be "quest elements" hooked up, such as spawns for enemies related to the quest, a spawnpoint for the "subject" of the quest (kidnapped victim, family heirloom) So when you walk into a town, the game will fire off a new radiant quest check, the game will check what npcs are nearby and make sure they fit the race profile and voice of the quest giver's dialogue, then it'll look for any "quest elements" nearby and will assign the subjects of the quest to them. At its core its just an interchangeable quest system. Its a quantity over qaulity thing, none of the radiant quests will be spectacular, but it's unlikely you'll ever play the exact same radiant quest twice... they'll always be with a new subject and in a new location and given by new people.
Considering a game like Mount And Blade kept me entertained by repeating different questish things in different areas and that was enough for me, this will keep me going along for a while just fine.

And these don't detract from the look of the game. http://www.stevemv.com/other/enhancements/morrowind/index.html

I just hope there is more to do when you are done with the dark brotherhood quests. After you were done with them all in oblivion you could do is talk to the night mother every week and get 200 gold with no real quest or anything. I just hope there are some people they want me to kill every now and then or they want me to go and recruit people or just give me some new quests of some type. Stuff like that.
Sure Dragons, but Radiant Story and all this other Jazz they go on about. Who knows, I just don't like believing in hype.
http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Radiant_Story All of that generally seems to still be in the game. None of it seems overly complicated or worth removing.

[editline]20th October 2011[/editline] Sounds like that will happen with the Radiant Story.
Not really new shots, but previously they were only really in magazine scans, so here's some better ones. That torch looks weird. Like magma or something. Magma torch?

The torch is glued to his knuckles.
The torch is glued to his knuckles.
Wizard did it
The torch is glued to his knuckles.
And the final score is 6/10 - Skyrim was a fantastic game if not for the poorly held torches.
wow thumb those images, they fill my entire monitor
were you being sarcastic cause those are not that big at all [editline]20th October 2011[/editline] Unless he already fixed them but they sure as hell aren't thumbed
And the final score is 6/10 - Skyrim was a fantastic game that was brought down to it's knees by poorly held torches.
It's either an animation glitch, or a new, awesome weapon: the TORCH GAUNTLET. [editline]21st October 2011[/editline] Speaking about torches, they can now be smashed onto your foes' heads now, don't they? Oh my, what wouldn't I do to dual-wield them all day...
were you being sarcastic cause those are not that big at all
yeah my monitor is 600x600, they rape my 2k internet connection of course I was being sarcastic
Yep. At 1am on gametrailers. Got it set to record just in case I miss it.
oh it's gametrailers, that's slightly more bearable

I (possibly incorrectly) heard it was supposed to be a trailer or something. Dont quote me on that because there's a good chance it's a baseless rumor.. but still a possibility.
