By "tutorial" do you mean that part at the beginning where you fight rats?
Yes. That annoying tutorial.
Some how managed to make off with one of the Katanas of the dead Blades on my first time, usually it gets taken away.

Yeah, the part where they also explain the fucking game mechanics.

I definitely did not make a single potion during the "tutorial".

Then you either didn't pick up the mortar and pestle, ignored the popup about the mortar and pestle, or never clicked on the mortar and pestle in your inventory.

You probably dropped it before that Blades dude talk to you after the Emperors death
How would you guys feel about Fallout 3-style gore in this game? Would you be upset? Or would it add to the realism?

It'd probably look too cheesy.

I don't think it'd work in a game like this. It fit Fallout, but I don't see it as an Elder Scrolls thing.
does anyone have a list of essential morrowind mods? thanks
playing through the games in order, already finished arena and daggerfall

Mods? Pfff, Vanilla Morrowind since day 1, and still playing to this day.
Seriously though, if its your first time through, do vanilla.
it's not my first time though

I would accept gore as far as Slashes that dynamically pierce/cut open armor, blood flowing out onto your chest plate, large gashes on the skin possibly some bone showing. As Elder Scrolls goes that is.
Has there been a single shot of anyone that wasn't a Nord, Imperial, or Orc yet?

First page bro.
Also there's a redguard in one of the videos.
Not a fan of the bow model there, I hope there are slightly more rounded ones, as well as longer in length

shut up, pervs
Forgot about Khajiit entirely.
I'm predicting some argonian screenies sometimes late summer here.
I am really curious to see how they turned out.

Tell me about it. Argonians are my favorite race, and we have 3.1 months left until release day and still no Argonians.
Argonians don't exist in Skyrim, too cold clearly.

No dismemberment but maybe some more blood that doesn't disappear after 4 seconds.
I wonder if they'll do Hammerfell next. I remember before Skyrim was announced a friend of mine heard a rumor it'd be there instead. It sounds really fascinating, with the desert surroundings.

I think that Bethesda said that they would not leave out and races.

That was a joke.
I didn't really like the player homes. I found it much more fun to go find a random area in the wastes and claim it as your own.
Hell I made a character that basically lived in the D.C. Sewers in F3.
I loved that in Fallout. I had several homes in it, one of them being a small abandoned tent near the northern satellite relays. Whereas in Oblivion, an invisible man would always break into your containers if you didn't own them and replace them with paint brushes and other useless stuff. ;-; There better be a hell of a lot less random containers in the game. :/

Wait, there was seriously a pestle and mortar? Where? What part?
Wait, there was seriously a pestle and mortar? Where? What part?
On a stool next to a rat on a spit. I think it's also the spot where you encounter your first goblin.

The same room where you first meet a Goblin (the game tells you to crouch down when you see it). On a crate near the goblin is a Mortar And Pestle and some Ingredients.

I have 250+ hours with oblivion and I just found out about that on my last playthrough. Felt pretty damn dumb.

I thought the entire point of that room was to sneak past the goblin, so I didn't stick around.
Is there another way to obtain one later in the game, or am I screwed?

There are plenty, theres some alchemy shop in the Imperial City that sells sets of them, I think.
