By the way, now that I think about it. Would anyone here say that a laptop with the current specs bought in 2009 can cope with modern day video games:

I remember running Crysis on it, but after a while I noticed that it was lagging a bit, so I uninstalled it.

Skyrim will most likely require at least dual core and at least 4gb of ram. as for graphics, i'd imagine you'd be okay with something from the last couple of years.

Put it this way, if you can run Oblivion on your current system with full graphics, then I'd imagine you can run Skyrim on medium-high graphics.

It doesn't really matter what you play it on, it's the same game and it will be good all around. But on console you'll be missing out on mods and a graphics boost.
Generally I buy a game for my 360 first for a vanilla play-through and to get the achievements and then I get it on PC for the mods and enhanced graphics.

Ok so i preordered this a few months ago and it's basically the only game I'm actually looking forward to. As it gets closer to the release date, I'm debating on how i want to go about picking it up (I got it from gamestop). My problem is, when will a game like this be open for sale? Will they make an exception and let me stand in line at midnight to go pick it up, do i have to wait until 8 AM when they open the doors at the normal time, or does it vary from store to store, and in that case i just need to call? Any ideas?
