Uh, waste is completely objective Whether you're Bill Gates or a street hobo throwing away money for no reason is a dumb idea And gamerscore just shows off how much time you've wasted on a game, the equivalent of showing off your steam gametime to friends
Stop slinging your opinions around like you're almighty. Whether or not time and/or money is well spent is an opinion, therefore whether or not that time and/or money was wasted is relative to the person who spent it.
So I was about to read the new gameinformer article on Skyrim.
Anduil
All my rage
I just found my new nord name

I mean, you can hook up an Xbox controller if that's your hangup.

Not everybody can afford a high-end PC to play games on max settings, it's not as though it looks bad on console. It looks good on consoles and great on PC. I will somewhat give you the point for mods though, even though as I said I buy it on console for vanilla and later on PC for mods. It's not a matter of superiority so much as a matter of price and preference.
Live-Action trailer would have been better if he Fus-Roh-Dah'd that dragon, or at least fought.
Paying for the same game twice, once for an inferior copy, is a dumb idea when you can buy the better copy for the same price at the same time
I pre-ordered THREE copies of Skyrim, so fuck you.
I pre-ordered THREE copies of Skyrim, so fuck you.
Uh. Why?
I pre-ordered THREE copies of Skyrim, so fuck you.
Two of them are for friends or something, right?
Paying for the same game twice, once for an inferior copy, is a dumb idea when you can buy the better copy for the same price at the same time
I bought Fallout 3 twice on xbox and twice on my PC, completely worth it to me :v:
Skyrim fever is taking me over.
This is brilliant.
I bought Fallout 3 twice on xbox and twice on my PC, completely worth it to me :v:
Did you keep one of each copy unwrapped or did you play them both?
By the way, can you play Skyrim on your PS3 with a keyboard and mouse?
I bought Fallout 3 twice on xbox and twice on my PC, completely worth it to me :v:
Same for me, actually, only with my PS3, before I had a PC.
By the way, can you play Skyrim on your PS3 with a keyboard and mouse?
If you have one of the third party keyboard and mouse converters like XFPS and such, you can play just about any game with a keyboard and mouse. The problem is, it only emulates analog stick movement so unless it's one of those incredibly rare games like Dead Island that actually allow you to customize the deadzone, it's not really a viable option as there is no micro-movement detection.
To anybody buying Skyrim on consoles: No porn for you! [sp]You sure are missing out[/sp]
Same for me, actually, only with my PS3, before I had a PC.
Totally not as much of a waste of money as buying it once for each system though, right?
Totally not as much of a waste of money as buying it once for each system though, right?
Taco's post actually makes sense to me. I don't see any point in buying 3 copies of a game for myself if I'm only gonna play one of those copies though. Unless it's guaranteed to be really fucking collectible, then I guess it makes some sense.
I've bought multiple copies of games in the past if I lost them or wanted to get them again on Steam when they went on sale years after I first bought it. Buying multiple copies on release is ridiculous though and I'm sure no one actually does that.
Totally not as much of a waste of money as buying it once for each system though, right?
Yes, because it was superior on pc and I got it on PS3 before I had a PC :zoid:
Guys guys guys i always wanted to know this but i never had a relevant situation to ask it why exactly do argonians have breasts if they're lizards? isn't that a mammal thing?
Guys guys guys i always wanted to know this but i never had a relevant situation to ask it why exactly do argonians have breasts if they're lizards? isn't that a mammal thing?
Wizards. [editline]24th October 2011[/editline] Or magic.
Guys guys guys i always wanted to know this but i never had a relevant situation to ask it why exactly do argonians have breasts if they're lizards? isn't that a mammal thing?
To give the nexus ideas.
Guys guys guys i always wanted to know this but i never had a relevant situation to ask it why exactly do argonians have breasts if they're lizards? isn't that a mammal thing?
If I'm not mistaken they excrete Hist Sap which is the crap the species evolved from. Also believe it or not they're apparently warm-blooded and give live birth which would suggest they are mammals rather than reptiles despite being reptilian in appearance. They also have fish and amphibian features, and can change gender, etc. Oh and like 87% of this is an assumption, there's little to no lore on the Argonians. Even less so than the Khajiit.
I'm among the few here whom will be playing Skyrim on console yes?
I'm among the few here whom will be playing Skyrim on console yes?
Well. You're on a forum, originally started to be about a mod for a PC game and most people here still are mostly PC gamers... [editline]24th October 2011[/editline] [sp]I'd guess probably...[/sp]
I'm not computer savvy. At all.
Guys guys guys i always wanted to know this but i never had a relevant situation to ask it why exactly do argonians have breasts if they're lizards? isn't that a mammal thing?
they aren't lizards OMG!! they are fish-reptile amphibians! [editline]24th October 2011[/editline]
Please tell me there isn't something in the lore that says "Argonian tits spit out hist sap".
hists are fucking plants http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Hist
Please tell me there isn't something in the lore that says "Argonian tits spit out hist sap".
If you look on the Elder Scrolls wiki you'll find the Argonian/Khajiit sections are significantly longer then the other races, and go into far more detail on otherwise trivial matters. I wonder why. Whoops it looks like it's just the Khajiit who have the long racial description, not Argonians.

What the fuck Bethesda.
