Wait wait wait wait i don't understand so argonians have sap for milk?
My friend found an Unusual hat in TF2 minutes after me reading the post in this thread about being able to get Skyrim with one. Lucky him
I just realised, in the trailer, they do the hollywood thing of having someones sword on their back (bad idea as you can't unsheath a sword like that) but do the trick of cutting to it already being drawn without you actually seeing it happen.
Two games for a fucking digital pot?

I don't know where you got that idea but it is perfectly possible to unsheath a sword from your back as long as it is properly proportioned for you.
Two games for a fucking digital pot?
Normally I'm against taking advantage of the mentally handicapped but I'll make an exception for trades like this.

I'm interested in how you guys are trading items for games, mainly how exactly are you finding buyers?
Except on that guy, as it isn't proportioned nor placed. Anything with a blade as long as your forearm (small/mediumish for a sword) has to be so far down your back you have to be damned flexible to even reach it. PRetty much on the subject of Ninjas and Katana's, but still applies.

Feels boss. 2:20

I guess I am abnormally flexible or something.

It'd be impractical compared to having it on your hip though.

The scabbard isnt in his belt (besides which, in that video he uses the belt only while moving, going on to mention that you'd have to take it out of your belt and swing it aside. 2. Although he does hold the scabbard, he doesn't upll it down, the sword is approximately the length of his entire arm, it'd have taken the guy longer to draw it than the instant cut to having it fully out if he really drew it on his back and finally It cuts between him drawing it and him having it out, given that, it's a safe assumption that the guy didn't draw the sword in continuity.
snippy
If I'm not mistaken they excrete Hist Sap which is the crap the species evolved from.
They didn't evolve from the sap, but the Hist Trees themselves. The Hist are older than all the other species and once covered Tamriel. They can also communicate with the Argonians. During the Oblivion Crisis, the Hist called a bunch of Argonians back to Black Marsh to help defend the place. As a result, they actually suffered very few losses compared to the other provinces.
You must have freaky long gorilla arms then.
Well I can scratch any spot on my back without help, so probably.

He uses arguments that can be used against himself a lot. For instance, in this video, he has no problems drawing a relatively long sword (longer than his arm) from HIGHER than the back would be. Plus, in the Skyrim Trailer, his sword is placed pretty low on his back And for the example of the scabbard being very low on his back: [editline]24th October 2011[/editline] And here you clearly see the scabbard being attached to his armor thingie with a leather scrap
Not sure why they had him draw it from his back, the thing was basically a shortsword/gladius, those types of swords are drawn ffom the hip in the game itself.. Claymores and other such great swords probably would have been carried at the hip, and the scabbard simply dropped on the ground or stored somewhere before battle... those are the types that are carried on the back in skyrim.

And reaching in front of you to draw a sword, even from high up, is a whole lot of different biomechanics than reaching around behind you is. Unless any of you happen to have, oh i don't know, a video of the actor actually doing it, I'll assume they have done the old movie trick of cutting to avoid showing that they didn't actually draw it in one move..

Changing angles is something you do even when a person pulls a knife. Why? It creates suspense. Multiple angles means it's more dramatic. If someone pulls a gun you normally first see it from the side, then when they aim it forwards you see it in a kinda forwardy way. Not because it's not possible to draw, but because it makes drama. "This guy pulled a weapon, someone might get hurt, suspense suspense"
If you pay close attention you see him using his left hand to push the scabbard upward as he draws the sword so he can get it out all the way. It is a short sword too so it isn't terribly hard to do. Seems simple to me. If you need the specific time as which he does this. 0:49-0:50 seconds.
Oh god who cares how he drew the freaking sword.
