I should really get a new monitor for this. I'm using a four year old Dynex 32" flat screen tv. It has worked really well but it's just too big and low quality to use if you're sitting right next to it. Too bad all my money is going towards a trip to Ireland right now, excluding $60 for skyrim
For those wanting to see their specs: download Speccy
...or just run DxDiag
Excellent, excellent. The shockingly low system requirements pleases me and for a lot of other people I bet. Thank you Todd Howard and your team!
Wait a second, why do the requirements say "6GB free hard drive space"? That's... that's not very much. Typo, or should we start worry about textures being 128x128 JPEG files?
I only have a 1.2GHz processor... WHY GOD, WHY?!?!?
I don't know about you guys but I think I might go on an Elder-Scrolls binge. Redguard, Battlespire, Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, then Skyrim :suicide:

I'm replaying Oblivion start to finish in anticipation. I am completely adamant that Skyrim will be the best game ever made.
Yes, you do make me feel like complete shit, your bad feeling was correct.
If you don't actually know anything about hardware, why reply?
except speccy is ten times better and much faster+better view?
I tried it, it doesn't give me as much information as DxDiag, through.
close enough
I'm giving out high fives for everyone! *high five*
I have an i7 2630QM (2.0 GHz, though with turbo boost it's 2.7) 8 gigs of DDR3 RAM GTX 560M I think I should be able to max this out.
57c? What in the fuck
That's nothing. Mine runs at 141+F.
bottlenecks, bottlenecks everywhere
I assume that means max is a "No"?
Graphics card: over 512MB
Also, I hate it when developers put out their requirements like this. There's 1gb versions of 8400 GT's, doesn't mean it'll run the game.
Since you guys were doing this, I decided to join in. Btw, I have not a damn clue why my core temps are this high. I cleaned the whole thing yesterday
64-bit Windows 7 2.6GHz tri-core CPU 1024Mb Ati Radeon HD 5770 4Gb RAM weeee, medium settings here I come right?
Windows 7 2.6GHz tri-core CPU 1024Mb Ati Radeon HD 5770 4Gb RAM weeee, medium settings here I come right?
Yes. Probably even high, seeing as the 4890 is just SLIGHTLY better than the 5770. But then ofcourse it all depends whether it's CPU or GPU heavy.
Getting so close to release day. I've got the GTA V trailer next Wednesday to look forward to, then after that I'll be visiting my family over the weekend, which will make time fly. Then it's just one week till release. Even better is I'm getting four exams out of the way beforehand, which means I'll be able to slack for pretty much two weeks.
So in Oblivion I tried playing a marksman/thief/assassin guy and I was trying to use poisons. Now I had no trouble getting poisons and stuff its just that anything I made was piss weak no matter what. How would I get stronger poisons?
not necessarily, you just dont get full performance from your card due to your cpu
IIRC the 810 isn't even that bad, it's basically a slightly slower 955. And if I remember that correctly, there won't be any bottleneck at all.
1 gigs of ram and 1.6ghz single core processor. Dx7 mode here I come ~~~~
Dunno if this has been posted, but it shows grass lighting on fire @ 1:45
The light reflecting off the sword as he moves in and out of the sunlight/casts the fire spell seems very well done.

Alchemy kinda blows though so I would just work on sneak attacks and item enchantments that compensate.

Shame.
