Oblivion was 4.7 I think

Sorry, I know its been asked a hundred times but do you think I can run Skyrim? I'm probably getting a GeForce GTX 560 Ti for my birthday (Unfortunately its the the 14th of November) but could I manage with this until then?
Well I don't think so with that card but if you're getting a new one 3 days later it'll be good. Although I can't tell how good your processor is, but no to the 8500 for sure.
Just cause 2 was 6Gb big, compared to the JC1 who was 8. Just cause 2's landmass was 256 sq kilometers.

That'll do, I'll preorder nowish. Thanks.
No problem. [editline]25th October 2011[/editline]

Would you look at that, even less. Do you have DLC downloaded?
Wait one last question, is a Geforce 9500 GT a good enough card? It seems to be from past experiences but I don't know.

You have DLC. I just went off the system requirements
Wait one last question, is a Geforce 9500 GT a good enough card? It seems to be from past experiences but I don't know.
It apparently either compares to an ATI Radeon HD 3200 or ATI Radeon HD 4550. No idea, really.
I would LOVE to upgrade for Skyrim, but alas, I appear to be 700 pounds short. If you were to donate to my cause, I'll GLADLY update! (i.e, PM me and you can paypal me some money!) :v:
I got mine from my local Pc Repair place for < £500 Win7 Ultimate 32bit Radeon HD5670 1GB GPU AMD Athlon X2 255 (3.1GHz) 4GB RAM. And that was for the tower and everything within it.
And? You have DLC. I just went off the system requirements
Yeah, but I'm not too loaded up on mods. Pretty much just fixing mods, stuff that everybody probably installs anyway. [editline]25th October 2011[/editline] I should probably get 2 more gigs of RAM and upgrade to 4GB of RAM finally.
I hope you are joking bout that 560 Ti.
What would you recommend instead? I'm in the 200-300 dollar price range.
What would you recommend instead? I'm in the 200-300 dollar price range.
Your computer will bottleneck so bad that it will blow up.
Your computer will bottleneck so bad that it will blow up.
I'm not just getting the 560 Ti. Sorry, should have said. Thought you meant something was wrong with the 560s.
-snip- my mistake
If you're really serious just ditch that thing and buy a new PC. Get that 560 Ti with a phenom or a 2500k, price shouldn't be a problem if you really live in the US. oops, late reply, but still counts.
Wait one last question, is a Geforce 9500 GT a good enough card? It seems to be from past experiences but I don't know.
That could be a problem. I do not think a 9500 GT matches a 260.
That could be a problem. I do not think a 9500 GT matches a 260.
It supports DX10 and has the 512mb of ram needed, oooh I don't know anymore.
I think you can manage low then.
personally i run a ati 5770 hd. might be getting a bit old but considering i run games windowed rather than at their native resolution, it won't be an issue.
AMD Athalon 64 X2 ATI Radeon HD 4850 2GB RAM Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) 1440 x 900 resolution Since everybody else is asking...
Do you think this laptop would be able to run Skyrim?
The official forums are saying a dual core(not Pentium D) at 2ghz or higher is enough CPU. Going by previous games like Oblivion/Fallout 3/FO3 NV which I tested on single core(CPU I had then) up to triple core(CPU I have now) I can believe this. Basically if you have a fast enough dual core you're fine. GPU is another story. For all the videocard challenged people I'm going to run this on an ATI 5450 512mb card. This is a basic nongaming card with 64bit memory. I'm going to run it at 1024x768 up to 1280x1024. My 5450 is roughly equivalent to Nvidia 210/220, 8400/9400, and 420 when it comes to gaming.
You know how each game has had a smaller and smaller land mass to play in? This game takes place in a land about as large as an Olympic sized swimming pool.
Cyrodiil was considerably bigger than vvardenfell, so no, each game doesn't take place in a smaller landmass. Skyrim is the same size as cyrodiil but is far more detailed
AMD Athlon Core Processor 5600+ 2GB RAM Windows XP 1920x1080 res Would this be good enough for Skyrim?
My computer is ready.
AMD Phenom II x4 965 ATI Radeon HD 6950 4GB RAM Win7 Home Premium 64-bit 1600x900 I'm pretty sure I hit the Rec requirements, I just wanted to share...
Min - yes rec - no.
So medium-ish settings.
I have a feeling my Nvidia gt 450M is gonna fuck me :(
