Am i magical enough to view High Res beards on my screen?
That is one HOT card right there, but you should make it on around High.
Hot as it its magnificent and would like to make love to it
Or the temprature?
Quad core recommended? good thing I have one.
Gonna pick up a 560 GTX for this. Its the only good card in my budget range. I am not being stuck with the 8800 GT to play this on
So how well can i expect my GTX 460 and my I5 2500k to run Skyrim and before u say it I already know it will run Ultra but is it realistic to expect 60 fps?
I'm sure two Crossfire'd Radeon HD 4800's should max this with 8GB RAM and an Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66 GHz CPU
For fuck's sake, I hate how technology evolves. My gaming rig that I built in 2010 is barely above the minimum requirements. Also, 6gb? How the hell is that possible?
I'm considering changing my pre-order and getting normal edition rather than the limited. Good idea?
[editline]26th October 2011[/editline]
Since I got so many agrees I'll change to normal then.
Dont want to be a ass, but can someone / shall i make thread about if you can run Skyrim yes or no?
I mean i think this thread will bottle up with hardware questions
I have 4 fans in my tower, How can it be that hot....
That is one HOT card right there,
Seriously? My generic POS from 2009 can handle minimum requirements just fine, it even meets some of the recommended.
Sorry, I know its been asked a hundred times but do you think I can run Skyrim? I'm probably getting a GeForce GTX 560 Ti for my birthday (Unfortunately its the the 14th of November) but could I manage with this until then?
probably on low thanks to that 8500
Just wondering, because I'm actually kinda clueless. This is my specs (the RAM is actually 12Gigs, and Crossfire is actually enabled, more RAM is coming in the mail soon is why its only 4GB, so imagine it as 12GB. It is a dual core, I know that for sure.)

Which setting do you think? Or will it even run?
I'm pretty dumb, so you're allowed to rate me dumb.
An Nvidia 260 will be enough right?
(I don't think it can run DX 11 though...)

The video card is all i'm worried about right now.
260 is fine, it's not a dx11 card but even if it did that wouldn't make a blind bit of difference
will probably run it on high, maybe ultra

if it means you can put at the top
skyrim is not that demanding, if you have a midrange pc from the last 3 years you can run it with no issues
be my guest

it's 6GB because the game is constructed using tilesets of different materials and therefore assets are reused all over the place
plus they're not gonna be super-high bf3 quality

mostly medium, some low probably
will you can probably get like 40FPS on medium
Jeez, kind of a let down. :| I was hoping at least a good FPS rate on High.
Though it may be totally different, but I can run BF3 on High, I don't know why I couldn't run this on high.

Any upgrades you recommend? I'm like, really broke, but i might be able to get a few things replaced after Christmas.

Well I'm fucked. Also the CPU is meant to be @ 2.3 GHz, but Speccy is like nope and doesn't detect it for whatever reason.
On the plus side I'm not playing on the core of the sun like most people seem to be doing.

Your computer is better than mine in every way, you should be able to play on medium.
For fuck's sake, I hate how technology evolves. My gaming rig that I built in 2010 is barely above the minimum requirements. Also, 6gb? How the hell is that possible?
If it's from 2010 it must not have been good when you first built it.
I apologize, I read the requirements stupidly wrong. My rig will run this just fine.
Jeez, kind of a let down. :| I was hoping at least a good FPS rate on High.

What the hell I thought 40FPS was good :ohdear:
What the hell I thought 40FPS was good :ohdear:
It is good, but he said on Medium.
Any upgrades you recommend? I'm like, really broke, but i might be able to get a few things replaced after Christmas.
actually you could probably handle all medium
the processor is probably more of a bottleneck than the card

40fps is fine
also I didn't see you were running crossfire (and you said bf3 ran on high), yeah you could probably handle high at about 40-50fps
