Stupid sexy PC
I can run Skyrim around the low level when it comes out :suicide:
Going to make it my mission to update my PC for christmas though so hopefully I can fix things up to the point of enjoying the environment.

Ok time to stop posting speccy stuff as it's just a comparison of numbers and unless we have your exact machine and have played skyrim on it we cannot give you an estimate

How much was it?
I hope my HD4850 can take it. It runs practically everything else I've ever thrown at it.

I originally built a computer for about $1000, back in '09.
Than this year, I upgraded the more vital parts, which cost about $900.
And a few parts needed to be replaced which was about another $100~200.
But I got a job, so it's all good.

do i have enough hdd space for skyrim?
I will give my first-born child to whoever makes a time machine that takes you directly to the 11th of November, this year.
I get the feeling the reason you'd want a extremely good rig to run on Ultra is simply due to the fact Skyrim has bad optimization.
And I don't mean simply because I'm going "Hurr console port", I mean Bethesda doesn't have good history with optimization in general.
Or you know, So we can get the full experience looking at the beautiful landscapes instead of a bunch of blurry textures.

Optimization aside expect bugs
I don't think there's ever been a not bug infested Bethesda release. Generally they aren't game breaking which is nice. They're just funny

Tell them it's for ceremonial purposes.

Wonder if they fixed the random pits the last journalist fell into when he was fighting a tree
What about when the dragon picked up the giant and it looked very unnatural?
Was that a bug or just way to hard to animated.
Might have been a bug where the giant didn't play an 'i got picked up by a dargon oh noes' animation like it was supposed to.
That's the optimistic explanation, but it's more likely there just isn't an animation for it.

But it was in plain sight in the video?
Couldn't they just re shoot it or does that fall under the dynamicness?
Would be cool if every game had euphoria for shit like that, cuts a lot of animation-making and looks amazing at the same time.
Apparently my craptop will be able to play this, yet it can barely play oblivion :v:

I think the only alternative would be to make the Giant insta-ragdoll the moment it gets carried away, and chances are that would look just as bad, if not worse.
It's not a big of an issue to me, It does seem like something hard to animate specially with the Bethesda animation team
The one of the perks I see about getting the game a couple days after release is the fact that many of the bugs (if any) should be ironed out.

you might laugh but this sextop runs oblivion on maximum, HDR enabled, with about 32 FPS on average
i'm all set for mobile skyrim!
I don't think being able to run Oblivion max doesn't mean you will be able to run Skyrim "well"
