Pfft I'm playing right now with the bar at 50%. I imagine the bar at 100% would be like fighting brick walls

50 hits with a glass short-sword to kill a level 1 bandit...
The game doesn't really get harder at higher difficulty, enemies just have more health. Which results in slapping a rat with a battle axe for half an hour before you kill it.
When Skyrim finally comes out I won't get it on steam(if even possible), because I want my fancy box, manual and map.
I'm already hyped for the DLC that will (most likely) come out for Skyrim. Hopefully Lycanthropy will be in the game, or atleast in one of the DLC's. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Lycanthropy .Seriously, that would be badass.
I mean, there need to be werebears in Skyrim

Would love to be a berserker with a grey wolf pelt and the ability to turn into a wolf or something similar.

Icarian "Flight" is just an "increase acrobatics to unknown levels, jump to imitate flight" .
Also fixing page 35.
Rewatched E3 stuff, realized the Dunmer are back to Morrowind standards. Raspy voices and red eyessss yesssssssss
How could they make this:

Out of that:

I hope the game has some big battles, involving both humans and creatures.
Does anyone here actually roleplay on their characters? For some reason I believe that I'm the only one :ohdear:.
Does anyone here actually roleplay on their characters? For some reason I believe that I'm the only one :ohdear:.
While I personally don't, I know for a fact some people do so no you are not alone on that.
I might try it in Skyrim to be honest.
I stick to my imaginary man's set of imaginary principles.
Theft is dishonorable, killing an unarmed man with a weapon is dishonorable, haggling is a waste of time, bribery is a crime, and helmets are for gays.
So I guess in a way that's sort of roleplaying since I personally have no problems with haggling or helmets
Edit: Then again the whole immersive mood is broken by the fact that my character looks like Mr Bean with a fluorescent pink afro.
My character is basically Black Dynamite, sans shirt and guns, so I vigorously follow his ideas minus any romancing, considering the current "romance" and "sex" mods out there.

As said before, I am playing myself in RPG's.
So basically sometimes I'm just chilling, going to an inn, drinking, leaving to go adventuring...
I remember once in Oblivion I tried to make a completely straight character, so I just made my living by hunting deers with a bow.

Is your character a Bosmer by any chance?

I do give them vague personalities but I don't make a whole buncha rules, they just get tedious after a while. I'm not sure if this counts as roleplaying but there are just some areas of games I just don't like looting, like Nipton in Fallout New Vegas.

I roleplay all of my chars, they have reasons for doing things, for not, ect. makes it much more fun for me.
I like to put on Huntsman Leather and grab a bow to hunt Deer in the forests occasionally.

what's the console command to recustomize my character? I currently look like a woman and it's annoying me

showracemenu, but don't hit done, rather open the console again and type save "savegame name" otherwise your stats will reset.
So, do you guys think there might be a "slowfall" spell?
It would be so sweet to hover down a giant mountain or something.
Oh, and when a dragon picks you up, it could save your butt.

This made me think about a dragon shout that brings a gust of wing that Carries you down gently, and you ride it like you'd do sitting in an armchair.
If this is a generic TES thread, I'd like to confess I've never completed the main quest in Oblivion - said "fuck this" after passing through the first Gate in Kvatch, rode to Anvil, checked in for the night, got caught in a web of intrigue, and got carried away.
(This after spending hours heavily modding it, by the way.)
[editline]26th July 2011[/editline]
Also, I've always found it hilarious that E and space are swapped.

I've never finished Morrowinds or Daggerfall's or Arena's for that matter.
Arena lags like shit in Dosbox (well, the mouse does), Daggerfall is JUST TOO MUCH FUN.
And I could never help myself to Morrowind's.

Pity, really, I've heard Daggerfall's final [sp]dungeon[/sp] is Meat Circus-legendary.

When I first got Oblivion I used to place nightshade next to people I assassinated but I was young and stupid then
I used to carry garlic in my inventory at all times because I thought it would actually repel vampires. It took me a month or two to find out that you actually have to enter dungeons to encounter vampires

Arena and Daggerfall had levitate which worked just like a clipping tcl.
I always place a feather/quill next to someone I killed, with their sword/weapon enchanted (to give it a name).

It grows on you, it really does - there's not a single serious or noir-ey character in Oblivion (with the exception of CP's one). The atmosphere of the whole game is rather light (less Oblivion planes) and packed to the rafters with soul-relieving thinginess.
