Different, still not that cutting edge it seems (View distance is cool though)
That doesn't tell us a whole lot. What are your specs?
Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66ghz
Geforce 9800GT
2 gigs of ram
I guess the ram thing should be upgraded, but can I make do with the other parts?

Minimum specs:
Operating System: XP/Vista/7
CPU: Dual Core 2GHz
Memory: 2GB RAM
Video card: DX9c, 512MB RAM
You pass them at least, depending on your VRAM of course.
Minimum specs:

Whew. Well, my VRAM is 512. I guess I'll have to save up for a new GPU aswell.
VRAM is used mainly for textures, so the more VRAM you have the less stuttering when moving between areas you will experience, but the overall FPS should remain the same irregardless of the amount of it.
The 9800 is pretty much right between the minimum 8800 and recommended GTX260, so yeah, you can literally run it "halfway decently"
You should get more RAM though, it's dirt cheap and you'll see improvement in pretty much all games/applications you use
wait there's no minimum gpu specified, I'm fucking stupid

What about the spiders that are dropping down from the top? :v:
They also climb walls

Christ not this again
That was never actually their word. Its a falsely-cited claim in wikipedia.
Creation is a modern game engine with modern middleware included with it. That's it, don't try to get caught up in false and vague statements about it's origin, especially considering none of that is going to affect how the game plays and looks on the surface in the slightest discernible manner.

You forgot to mention that you can't media tag embeded links, just copy what ever is in the adress bar.
Also, Put the tag into without the spaces.

Some main quest line mission where you are in this pitch dark dungeon full with spiders and shit with creepy crawling sound of the spiders while you hold out a torch and you can only wield 1 pretty weak weapon

Great, since everyone is breaking my auto-merges, I guess I'll have to make my own editlines

oh, okay. thank you, never really thought about the way VRAM works, just that it helps run the game better. and yeah, I hope I will be able to upgrade to 4gb in the next few weeks before the release.

A shitty bow and mad backpeddling skills
wait, player movement speed probably matches the arrow velocity so the arrow might just fall off the bow when you fire
Walk into dungeon, see spiders everywhere Dark Messiah style...walk out.

Source? If so I know what I'm modding out day 1. I can handle how they look but wall crawling and dropping on me is fucking cheap and annoying.

Gametrailers has a video with a good 9 or so minutes of new footage but it has god-awful commentary by dimwits.

Read the fucking article. He says it's like that in terms of levelling system so you're still going to encounter whimpy NPCs as well as tough ones.
Because minecraft spiders aren't scary as shit.
So aren't a lot of others. I'd still rather replace them with pigs.

He's stated in the article what the comparisons are and it's purely tweaks to the systems in place and I seriously doubt anyone can argue with them. They're smarter design choices.
Speaking to PC Gamer Howard explained how the developer tweaked the system used in Oblivion, which kept enemies on equal footing with the player, to make it more in tune with Fallout.
"[Skyrim]'s a lot more like Fallout 3, where as you level up you are going to see harder things, but the easier things stay around as well." explained Howard.
"You'll still run into the weaker stuff and you'll just decimate it,"
According to Howard the tougher battles will now be with new enemy types and special enemies.
Continuing, he went on to discuss the conversation system, which drops the meaningless chatter with no-name NPCs and keeps the player's interactions limited to characters of some importance.
"There's very few completely random conversations," he said, "We've gone more towards a system, like we did in Fallout 3, where they have a specific conversation with a specific person about various topics."
The lesson Bethesda learned from its post-apocalyptic FPS/RPG hybrid pertains to the construction of environments and using it to tell stories.
"We realised in Fallout 3 that that kind of environmental storytelling, where you come upon a little scene, is really good... And so we've tried to do it a lot more."
Howard promised that "just about" every dungeon will have something unique in it. We're glad to hear it.
