okay fuck off with this whole "hurr gamebryo" bs, its a new engine
how many times do we have to tell you people before you get it
I was talking about previous games like Oblivion or Fallout. We've yet to see how Skyrim's physics really are.
Them Havoc animations better be good.
Mind you it's $89 on steam, and I assume that's the same price you're getting
You mean me? I paid $30 for Skyrim and the Australian dollar is worth more than the Canadian dollar
Standard price on steam is $60

Oh well. As Yahtzee says, it's the "having the best beaches tax". Pity I hate beaches.

Am I late?
Quality isn't very good, but it's better than nothing I guess.
I love how the axes have that viking sort of shape. It makes so much more sense than the standard fantasy broad axe that would be way to heavy to actually use in combat, in real life the weight of your axe doesn't really matter as much as being able to swing it into someone as fast as possible does.

Mind you it's $89 on steam, and I assume that's the same price you're getting, and I also assume it's that EB Games special edition with the artbook and stuff (it's the collector's ed sans dragon basically) that he got, so good deal
I got it from game.

Im a friend with the manager there and he told me when skyrim first got announced, The collectors edition sold out first day just for some shitty dragon.

Most viking axes dont look like that
Thats a bearded axe (lol) but they weren't really exclusive
Still wish there were throwing axes, would have been so badass. And likewise throwing knives because they can share the same animation.
They need to release this game ASAP, so people can stop watching trailers for hours and finding microscopic clipping issues, lighting renders, and ragdoll falling mechanics to bitch about like dumb motherfuckers who are forgetting that this is The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim we are talking about here, and not some piece of shit game that can be judged based on such trifles.
Seriously, grow those beards you talked about 8 months ago and remember just why we're excited for this game. It's a Bethesda title, expect a few minor issues and mod them out after a week or two.
Now is no time to be overcast with doubt brothers, it's only a week or two away.
My beard filled in within the last few days.
I attribute this to Skyrim.
:v:

It's got nothing to do with exchange rates. Sure, our dollar is worth more, but we also earn more and all of our products and services cost more. $88 is cheaper than average for a new release game here.
also

I like how it's been two pages and nobody noticed it was in slow motion

They're still near exclusively associated with vikings so iuno
oh and right, forgot what they were called. Here it's "Skeggöx" which literally means beardaxe so I guess I should have made the connection.
Throwing axes seem a bit silly but there seems to be a correlation between impracticality and badassery when it comes to medieval stuff.
"I dont have high expectations for skyrim, ergo the engine is gamebryo"
I dont get it, is that what you're getting at? The post and argument as a whole was remedying the "_____ engine-unrelated feature looks bad because they are still using gamebryo" bullshit.
No, my argument isn't that "my expectations are low, thus they are using the Gamebryo engine".
My argument is this:
*The developers have explicitly stated the game uses a modified version of Gamebryo
*Recent gameplay videos indicate that many of Gamebryo's shortcomings are still present
*Bethesda has a poor record when it comes to delivering solid products despite having worked with the engine and the accompanying tools for many years
ergo Skyrim will follow the trend by being an amazing game whilst being technically underwhelming.
The point I was trying to get across is that you need not go around defending Bethesda for every technical mistake they make.
So how much is the Collectors Edition in Australia? 400$?
Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, Saints Row 3, and Battlefield 3. My wallet fucking weeps.
Not to mention mid-November is finals for me. Game over man.
Hmm damn, Skyrim is a real game that should be played in the coldness of the winter while it snows outside. Every year i played a game like that (It was Halo all these years before but the new Halo.. meh)
I will just finish the game when it comes out and replay it on hardest difficulty + all side quests when its winter, also a guy from my class knows the half of the Skyrim alphabet :v:

Install/Buy Oblivion or Morrowind and add some mods to it that makes it more fun to play, for example the mod where you can make camps, or just tweaks in general
Believe me the game improves alot with the Mod community that Bethesda has

Thats not the skyrim alphabet.
Thats not the skyrim alphabet.
They are using this in the game.
The language, Draconic, was created by Bethesda's concept artist Adam Adamowicz, and he developed a 34-character runic alphabet for the game
Oblivion also used parts of this language

I can't find the original one with the normal Alphabet under it. My friend has the whole alphabet on the internet with the normal alphabet under it. Will look it up

Also usable

Yes, thats Draconic, but in the image you posted before that, is DnD Draconic.
While they have Draconic in the game, it isn't the same as the DnD Draconic.
There are 2 langauge's with the same name? Well i just posted the other one, that one is correct
Let's be hardcore and learn it. Then talk in that language until Skyrim launches.

It even said on the image "Dungeons and Dragons Draconic"

Stand back, I'll show you how it's done.
I'm sorry, and ima' let you finish; but Daedric was the best fictional Elder Scrolls language of all time.
