I think the "one handed" one was just a stave being carried in one hand. Did anybody explicitly say there's both?
I don't know I just saw it in the Skyrim information thread.
What self-respecting Magic-User uses a wand?
You have no grounds to speak for any magic user as they are fictional!
You have no grounds to speak for any magic user as they are fictional!
If they're fictional then how does a magnet work?
Does your OGE disable driver-forced AA? It does that with NVidia's AA, so I chose the latter because I also get cheap AO. [editline]27th July 2011[/editline] I don't use driver forced AA so I don't know, sorry. I use a ATI GPU anyway. No QTEs period

You have no grounds to speak for any magic user as they are fictional!
cool magic users don't need wands
If they're fictional then how does a magnet work?
Miracles.
Why doesn't anyone in Harry Potter have a fucking staff? Walk around with that thing like a boss.
"Mad-Eye" Moody has a staff.
"Mad-Eye" Moody has a staff.
In the film at least, I don't remember it being mentioned in the books. The films and books can differ at times and not just leaving things out.
An NPC ("A Brush With Death") forced on me an item and now encumbrance is bugged. Hilarious.
Despite making almost always swords-centered characters, this time I want to use mostly a magic staff in a hand, sword in the other. Robes and beard. GANDALF AS FUCK.
Where are you going to get a beard from [editline]27th July 2011[/editline] And since when is Janus Vesta a normal goldmember
Does anyone here actually roleplay on their characters? For some reason I believe that I'm the only one :ohdear:.
I do alot, I give my characters morals and personalities. I make my charcters play different from one another as well. For Skyrim I'm planning to create one of those guy that practically "lives" in the tavern with loads of money that no one knows where he got it from.
My Argonian character in Oblivion loved strawberries, and put feathers next to everything he killed. Then he enchanted their weapon (with a drain health effect, just to name it) to name it "<npc's name>'s <type of weapon>" and put it next to them. Then he placed the feather (or quill) on ther forehead.

Passersby in TES? What passersby? (Seriously, though, bethsoft, fix that.)
Passersby in TES? What passersby? (Seriously, though, bethsoft, fix that.)
I just assume they are everywhere I'm not. You'd want to stay away from a man in Desert ranger armor holding a Fat man.
Miracles.
That, and depressant green alien slime.

Truly a poetic and graceful killer.
I want to make a Barbarian character that fights naked and murders everything, even the wildlife. Especially the wildlife.
Staves are basically wands for badasses instead of pussies.

What self-respecting Magic-User uses a wand?
Necromancer from Diablo 2's a boss, don't give a fuck.
Badass Magic user Besides Gandalf, you can't have both.
Wands would need a practical close-range application. Which is why you're better off enchanting a dagger, or even a fork.
what if I enchant a wand?
Badass Magic user Besides Gandalf, you can't have both.
Dovahkiin with his lightning hadouken. He switched from dual swords to double lightning fist. [editline]27th July 2011[/editline]
what if I enchant a wand?
Resonance Cascade.
So, I went to the nexus to download Midas Magic, and I see this on the front page

way to rape the game
I usually tend to play as a fast woodland archer or one of those gruff northerners who carries a big ass sword. Never really played magic other than for the healing spells.
I wonder how long this thread can go without posting a "disagreeable" mod on the Nexus yelling "LOOK AT THIS AND 'GRR' ".
So, I went to the nexus to download Midas Magic, and I see this on the front page way to rape the game
What really kills me is that whoever modeled those wasted their talent on utter shit. I mean, check out the smooth design, the attention to detail, and high polycount. Now imagine that kind of modeling on something that would actually make sense in the game, like new armor sets or weapons or monsters
