I usually tend to play as a fast woodland archer or one of those gruff northerners who carries a big ass sword. Never really played magic other than for the healing spells.
Argonians all day everyday. Except when playing Morrowind. Then it's Busty Bondage Bosmer all night every night because vampires die in sunlight.
In hindsight it was a bad idea to make my character a vampire in the middle of the main quest because now it's very hard to talk to anyone.
What really kills me is that whoever modeled those wasted their talent on utter shit. I mean, check out the smooth design, the attention to detail, and high polycount. That's actually why I get mad at these types of things, great talent down the fucking drain

So, what race are you going to play? I'm going to play a dunmer for my first playthrough, and when I finish the game I'll try a different race and see what I like best.

It's a good thing none of them have (or know anyone with) voice acting talent.
Otherwise we'd be hearing "KAWAII UUGGUU DESU" or shitty writing.

Or, in another case and explained by its quest giver, find a traveler who goes by carriage from one location to another, confront and kill him, and return to your destination to see that everyone is talking about his disappearance, strange legends and even why he does not come around.
No words, no words.

I've recently been rolling a sort of 'Ranger' type character too, I think that's what i'll play through Skyrim as initially. Too much fun to be quick as shit and accurate as hell with a bow.
Since we have no info for now, what's the best race for a spellsword ? I'm playing oblivion and everything i tried ended up sucking, so any tips ?

I think this issue is that people who have a predisposition to have attention to detail, dexterity, intelligence and the ability to understand complex programs may* have a predisposition to be friendless sexual deviants, likewise friendless sexual deviants also have a lot of spare time on their hands to make more porn mods; it's a vicious cycle.
Either that or they are all Japanese modders, and that's a self-explanatory situation :v:
Though, one thing is for certain. There will be dragon dicks within the first week of release.

And since when is Janus Vesta a normal goldmember
I've been a gold member for over a year. What you smoking?
Umm, guys, has anyone notices that the Giant's pouch (or handbag) moves at it walks? Is this some form of physics magic hereto unknown in The Elder Scrolls or just part of the animation?
I have a kind of a love-hate relationship with waiting for this game
I really wanted to like Oblivion but the combat and the way Bethesda utilized the engine just makes me hate it and I have to stop playing after a couple hours
Skyrim is looking pretty decent but honestly after Oblivion I won't buy it until I get to try it out myself first
If the movement is still floaty and jumping is finicky as hell or of the combat hasn't been significantly improved I'll once again have to skip over a title that millions seem to enjoy but I just can't seem to get into no matter how much I want to
That aside I want to play a charismatic Argonian trader who all the wenches lust after

Everyone is a scaly for Argonians.

A full graphics stack - the unofficial patches, UL/BC/NE/RAEVWD/Improved Trees and Flora [2]/Alive Waters/QTP3R/AWLS. Use OBMM if it's your first time, Wyre Bash can wait until you want to seriously start modding gameplay.
guys i really want this game
so do i, giraffe with a Christmas hat

Oh yeah, I remember your sexy bosmer.
I have a shitty computer that probably can't run Oblivion, should I buy Morrowind on STEAM? I feel like I would give up on it very fast but I want to try the Elder Scrolls series.

I play Redguard or Imperial, because I'm ~boring~
I played Nord in Morrowind, played Nord in Oblivion, and I'm going to play as Nord in Skyrim.
I am prepared to be true Dovakiin.
"Oh boy! Finally I can see the goddamn Surilie Brothers in person!"

Make no mistake, though, Skingrad is gorgeous. I envy the people who went and took reference.
Finished up the Mages Guild questline in Oblivion a day or two ago. I was sort of dissapointed in the last fight. But all the quests were pretty fun. Time to do the Theives Guild questline.
I want a QTE where my dragon born grabs the enemy's face and casts Searing Touch, leech, etc. while the enemy is clawing your arms & howling in utter pain, followed by a blast effect that throws the enemy back.
If the game had QTEs that would defeat the entire purpose of it being an RPG. The whole point is that your character's skills determine the outcome of a battle rather than your own. Tapping a button quickly instead of checking a skill is the complete opposite of this.
qtes ruin games. even one qte usually means bad game
QTE's can bring interaction and immersion to what would of been a normal cut-scene/animation and are actually fun and give feedback when done correctly , although putting them in just for the sake of it is a bad idea.
For example, using a grinding stone to sharpen weapons and having to move the wheel with your mouse in a circular pattern would definitely increase immersion and give feedback and make it a little less boring to watch.
God of war, heavy rain and a few others did it right, it was amazing how satisfying and fun they made QTE's in god of war, it gave life to what would of been a "put down your controller and watch" scenario.
Regular combat QTE's is a bad idea though.
