Ok you clearly have no idea what I'm talking about. Getting skyrim for pc, retail or not, chances are you can unlock it early. Here's how you do it: it comes out in a different time zone but not yours. You go use a VPN from that time zone, restart steam. Steam now thinks you're in that location and unlocks the game for you. It does work people do it all the time. So as soon as it unlocks in any 1 time zone you can unlock it. Which is why I hope New Zealand unlocks it at 12 AM their time so I can get it a 7 AM Thursday if I'm doing that math right.
I hope its staged. Just so I can play before you guys >:)
Any good free VPNs
Again, depends on what time zone it comes out in first. THEN look for them. Also note there is a slight risk as I think it might go against the steam user agreement, not sure though. I don't know anyone that's gotten in trouble for it though so again very very small risk
Pre-Orderd in Amazon.com. I will so you all in 11-18-11.

Finnally EBgames gives us a semi-decent deal for PC. But lol, the game guide is stupidly priced
I preordered Skyrim on the 14th of October. It's odd that 15 days have gone by so fast.
I pre-ordered skyrim CE the minute my store put it up on their site. Same day as it was announced, some time in June?
Game guides are lame anyways, I don't want to know EVERY single thing about a game, it ruins every surprise, if I'm stuck I just look it up on the internet.

-fucking automerge broken thanks-
I pre-ordered skyrim CE the minute my store put it up on their site. Still gotta pay the rest of it off but I've got plenty of time so.
Anyone else see this tweet? I hope he's not exaggerating.
I've heard the Argonian and Dark elf voices and from what I can tell they indeed quite different. But in a good way. Characters present themselves in a more convincing tone.

Everything will be on UESP anyway...
The guide's over 650 pages so assuming it's well made, it's probably worth the price. (not that there's any reason to buy guides in the first place)
I got the oblivion guide for free and it was amazing
I like buying strategy guides just for the fun of reading them. The visuals and shit are entertaining, even if the information is already online.
Game guides are lame anyways, I don't want to know EVERY single thing about a game, it ruins every surprise, if I'm stuck I just look it up on the internet.
What's the difference? Oh well, I think I just answered the question why you wouldn't buy the guide...
I know most of you haven't played the game yet, But what are your most sought after mods? 1: A Balanced dragon riding mod; One such as where a summon doesn't teleport the dragon but makes him fly to you. If it's on the other side of the map, too bad, also dragon can't fight. 2: Fast travel remover (I have low willpower what-of-it?) 3: Damage overhaul mod (where people die in 1-3 hits from a sword, but the player also dies in 1-3 hits from a sword, 3-5 arrows, 2 fireballs etc...) 4: Flames make people run 5: 6: That's all I got for now, as I said I haven't played the game so...
Most of you haven't played the game yet? What do you mean by that it's not even out.
IIRC some people played it at... IDK eurogamer or something..
For 15 minutes. That's like 1/1000 of total time played to where you can say you have "played the game"
Well he has in the picture and it worked. Though now since I see an actual person doing it, it does look awkward. Your point has been made. (Nice sad/displeased face btw, if that is you)
That is me. Also, WHY DON'T I HAVE THE CASH FOR A SKYRIM PRE-ORDER?! oh right, because i need more pelts...
Anyone know if dismemberment is going to be like Fallout 3/NV or more scripted? Being able to decapitate my enemy and toss his head off a cliff is a deal breaker for me.
Ok guys will it look better on ps3, or on my pc, specs below OS: Windows 7 64 bit CPU: Intel Core i5 520M @ 2.40GHz RAM: 4GB GFX RAM: DX10.1 video card with 1 GB GFX: gt 330m
I would make love to mudcrabs if the voice actor for Imperial guards did the voice or easter egg to oblivion in the form as a guard or npc.
The enjoyment of the Elder Scrolls series derives a lot from exploration and discovery - sure, a quick Google search if you're stuck is reasonable, but I think it ruins the fun otherwise.
