Hm, is the armor I just got better than the armor for completing the main quest? Or worse?
They are both heavy armor, choose the one with the highest rating and wear it if you like heavy.
Glass armor/Saviors hide is the best armor in my opinion.
Oh god how.
I was wandering, and some reason the [sp]Chancellor[/sp] seems to have been attacked and gone unconscious, what.
Spoilered because it IS spoilers.
Well what is your main armour profession? What level are you?
It's heavy, but it's good if you're low level with heavy armour as your main armour prof.
Character build is destruction mage with swords and heavy armor, really.
Watched both videos and I'm pretty disappointed. The graphics look horrible, but it was the console version so maybe there's still hope. Animation and movement looked floaty like in Oblivion. Combat looks like Oblivion but with added slowmo fatalities like in Fallout 3. The fatality animations were poor and the enemies the character fought slid around like they were blocks of ice. There's a bit in the second video where a guy floats up a flight of stairs that at least got me laughing.
Kinda sad how 23 minutes can completely erase any excitement I had for the game. It p. much looks like Oblivion 1.5

Wow, that fall animation at 12:35. So slick :v:
Good thing his neck is made out of metal, didn't snap when he hit his head against that rock or nothin'

It looks like a game from late 2009, which isn't really a bad thing because Oblivion looked like a game from 2004.
I think it looks good. Has a warm and crisp feeling to it, despite being in a cold region.
So I just beat Oblivion last night, 30Hours of playtime including my occasional sidequest, level 6, What should I do now? (Mods arent an option, mind you, I have a console version.)
play it again
I dunno about you guys, but the video above just made me want the game even more.
Not sure what the hell some of you are thinking being suddenly negatively surprised by stuff in the video, most of it seems pretty much spot on as far as Elder Scrolls Games go.
Bethesda needs better animators.
After seeing those textures, definitely getting PC
Most of the youtube comments for the gameplay and other Skyrim videos now consist of trolls and immediate haters who are displeased with random bullshit about the game. I feel like this leak might affect sales a bit.
Then again, it IS youtube I'm talking about here...
It's getting to where this thread is too full of spoilers. I'm to the point where I might have to leave forever.

Avatar adds to that a lot
In this game, are you meant to be aware of yourself being the dragonborn? Or is it something you find out in the story as it progresses.

This is what happens when the lead platform is a console with tech from 2005. I have serious doubts it will be any better on PC. At least there will be mods to fix these things
The game is huge, do you guys really expect them to have the time and money for motion captured animations?
Just relax, if it will be better than oblivion, it will be a great game.
Oblivion was a great game.
man, when that [sp]dragon landed on the tower and used storm call it sent chills down my spine[/sp]
I don't care what anyone says, i'm positive Skyrim will be in another league than Oblivion

Apparently that isn't good enough.
I've seen about 45min's worth of gameplay, and i think everything looks pretty damn good.
Not a perfect, but a great game.
So I was walking around where Dagon was at the end of the main quest.
Some reason a goblin was lying dead there.
I figured out what happened when I hit Dagon with my staff I guess. :v:
Edit: I actually figured out what it REALLY was, somehow I managed to get a goblin inside the city and never realized it. :v:
Guys, stop complaining about that video, the quality is shit, at 720p it looks like a 240p video, of course it looks like crap.
Wait until you actually play the game before you say the graphics are horrible.
Seriously you're saying the sound is terrible because of a YOUTUBE VIDEO that has shit quality.
You do realize almost ALL youtube videos have shitty audio quality right?
I agree very muchly with this, what we've seen from the pictures other people playing it looks way better than this video.
Also this video we can blame on consoles for once, as the anti-aliasing will be nowhere near as good.
Hey guys imagine what video games will look like when we get a new console generation
Hey guys imagine what video games will look like when we get a new console
Yeah, current gen consoles are really holding down pc games, because it must work on consoles too!
I really like the way the water looks in this game, flows really nicely. Not too sure about the muddy textures and glossy walls though.

A fact few people know is that most PC versions of games actually come with AA even when it's disabled. For instance, Far Cry 2 on PC had very few aliasing even with no AA enabled because there's a native anti-aliasing you can't turn off. Rage looks very nice with little a 2x AA enabled as well.
Apparently that isn't good enough.
haha this guy actually thinks Oblivion was a good game
Yeah, current gen consoles are really holding down pc games, because it must work on consoles too!
Considering they're a bigger market, yes they do.

[sp]It was more like METEOR call[/sp]
