To be honest I prefer by far the graphics of Skyrim or Oblivion because they're showing something original. Bf3 might be pretty and shit, it's just another war game.

This is why I love Far Cry 2. It looks amazing with a few luminosity tweaks, it's not very demanding and it features a huge world.

If you're anywhere near thinking the game is crap because you watched a bad quality youtube video, you should watch again the 10 minutes demonstration of Skyrim on xbox 360 that was actually recorded in 1080p with good equipment.

Play the game again, the graphics are wonderful. I run it on very high settings, except for shadows that are ran at ultra high, with a little FoV hack so I can see better because originally you can hardly see shit (plus the devs took time to actually model the entire arm + torso, it's a shame to only see your hand and wrist when holding a gun), and decreased luminosity while increased contrast so I have a better, more realistic impression of the place.

It aged very well.

animations are better than oblivions(although that's not hard to be better) voice acting is okay, there was some bad parts but it was bareable and the opening scene [sp]coming in on a wagon full of prisoners with the music[/sp] was pretty great

But that IS what they are. Those are the kinda things that are going to occur in the game. Just because it's set up doesn't mean anything.

Take a look at how they presented DXHR last year, heavily set-up level and same route every time they showed it, but every single element in it was what you would experience in-game. Just because there weren't any fucked up bugs doesn't mean jack shit.
