the only complaints anyone seems to come up with about is the graphics, which to be honest I couldnt give a fuck about, as long as the game is fun and has decent graphics I'm happy.
I don't really know why elder scrolls fans can complain about the visuals when 'The Elder Scrolls IV: I was born with birth defects' had so many presentational issues they were impossible to ignore. There is nothing wrong with the graphics, and that comment is made of solid gold considering it's directed at a game made by Bethesda 'I've never seen anyone walk diagonally' Game Studios.

I mean the same thing happened when you didn't pull your bow back for long enough. Was kind of a weird way of saying it, sorry.
In my humble opinion, story choices are something I never want to see in The Elder Scrolls. And before I get hated on, let me explain. Part of The Elder Scrolls is the hugely rich lore, if player choice were implemented, to a scale that actually matters, how will they explain what is canon to add it to the lore? Seeing as the games run off of each other and the latter games always feature talk of what happened in the previous games, I don't think it's really a good idea, nor one that they could really make unless they change the core structure of the games.
Warp in the West
In other news, we should discuss a hypothetical movie adaptation of TESA:Redguard starring Will Smith.
So when do I get to preload Skyrim on Steam anyway?
I wonder if Skyrim still uses master files
good god almost 400 new post holy shit

As the narrator.
As the narrator.
And the main character.
And the bad guy.
And the mentor.
Wait when did Skyrim go back to no diagonal running animations? I thought this was confirmed!

It'll probably have a similar system, I can't imagine it changing much. Hopefully they've refined the way content is overwritten with load orders and stuff though, as well as added a lot of new options to the CS.
And maybe, if we wish really hard, creating dialogue won't be such a pain in the ass any more. And if we sacrifice someone to Cthulhu, maybe the CS will actually be stable and fast this time around.
Do you guys think a HD 5670 will do the job for medium details?
It fulfills the minimum requirements but I don't how well it will run.

There are diagonal running animations, anyone who says different is under the influence of a cocktail of paint strippers and bleach.

:v: I like how my posts are always ignored
Will having a gig of ram, a HD 4550 and 1.8 ghz Core 2 Duo run Skyrim? I'm wondering because I can run Fallout:NV fine with a few stutters.
The "Dragon Age 3" video is part 2, right? The megaupload links are broken, so does anybody have part 1?

Depends which settings you can run NV on. If you can max NV out you can run this game for sure.
I'm surprised Zenimax havent taken the DA3 one down

I run it on low with medium textures and no shadows.

Well if it stutters on even those settings then your chances for Skyrim probably aren't great. I think the card is what really needs an upgrade, maybe throw in some more ram.
Actually I didn't notice the gig of ram part, you definitely need a couple more gigs to start.
If I can run Crysis on very high can I run this?

Even Oblivion struggles on a gig of RAM, you should upgrade that and then you should be able to run it on low-medium, maybe.

Easy.
I am going to enjoy playing this video game "Skyrim".
I really need a new processor, having a 9800GT with only a 2.1 GHz core 2 duo is kind of a waste.
Lets hope Skyrim actually is optimized for Quad-Cores :v:

Well since a quad core is in the recommended specs I'd assume so.

I have a 9800GT with a core i5 and Oblivion still stutters a lot while fallout 3 runs perfectly on higher settings.
Mind fucked.

I'm no expert so don't quote me on this, but I should think Skyrim won't be that processor heavy. When you look at a game like Battlefield 3 that's rendering 32+ players combined with all the destruction, explosions, vehicles, bullets etc. at once, not to mention how much more advanced the technology is to boot, that's the kind of game that needs a state of the art processor.
The most that Skyrim would be rendering at any given moment would be a few NPC's plus a town. I doubt a quad-core is necessary. But then again, a lot of it comes down to optimization.

I generally have performance problems in oblivion as well, it's probably just bad optimization to be honest.
