After watching the footage, the visuals are just as I imagined them: adequate. The entire scene was very well done, although [sp]that spider cave tingled my arachnophobia bone AND reminded me of Dark Messiah's spider pits[/sp]. It's SOLID, that's what matters to me. And as a sucker for melee combat I really love those finishing moves.

The sound they make itself gives me the heeby jeebies. [sp]It's good they gave them a unique sound instead of generic/stock snake hissing noises.[/sp]

a lot of people have been complaining about the moves looking clunky but to be honest an animation of your character burying his sword up to its hilt in the neck of his enemy, even if it looks a little off, adds a lot more excitement than nothing, I reckon
