Besides the person playing, I enjoyed it a lot and I am looking forward to it.
The important thing is I have a plan anyway, it just needs a few more days.
WTF...I missed ANOTHER free game from Hatsen, first RO2 and now Skyrim....FUCK THE BATHROOM.

Me too...
If only I didn't have to eat.
MUST. NOT. WATCH. LEAK.

This only means one thing.....no doing anything while waiting for Hatsen to post again,
no eating,
no bathroom,
final destination
I'm no expert so don't quote me on this, but I should think Skyrim won't be that processor heavy. When you look at a game like Battlefield 3 that's rendering 32+ players combined with all the destruction, explosions, vehicles, bullets etc. at once, not to mention how much more advanced the technology is to boot, that's the kind of game that needs a state of the art processor.
The most that Skyrim would be rendering at any given moment would be a few NPC's plus a town. I doubt a quad-core is necessary. But then again, a lot of it comes down to optimization.
radiant AI in oblivion is a fucking performance hog, there's so many goddamn scripts firing at once
if they've optimised stuff competently though it should be OK

It's the opening of the game, and it's awesome. Scripted sequences actually look natural, unlike the horrors of oblivion, and it's definitely an exciting opening.
The "Dragon Age 3" video is part 2, right? The megaupload links are broken, so does anybody have part 1?

So for the people that watched the beginning of skyrim footage, is it as bad as everyones making it out to be? everyones very disapointed
You can't really judge if it's bad or not from 20 mins of low quality leaked footage played on a 360, all i can say is to me it seemed like a better start that than that of Oblivion's. It looked much graphically worse than the official gameplay demos (Probably due to the low quality video) and the combat looked not as good as i hoped. Watch the video, for me it didn't spoil anything as i pretty much already knew how the start would go down.
When it's released everyone here will be praising it except douches so come on guys
And since when has an Elder Scrolls game had amazing combat
Look natural

it's a bethesda game, did you honestly not expect there to be minor bugs
I think the main thing we've learned is the new animation tech looks really good, there's no 'seams' between animations, and they move pretty naturally in cutscens, unlike in past gamebryo games where scripted sequences look like a 5 year old playing with action figures.

I think the only problem with combat is being on a (possibly) clunky 360 controller and from a guy playing the game who utterly sucks at it.

Honestly I saw one of the TGS videos where the combat looked pretty bad, almost oblivion-league. The combat here looks much better, it's not great but it's pretty good and definitely a significant step up from oblivion.
The problem with everyone getting so hyped about a game, is that they get the image that it is going to be 100% perfect, then when they see it and its not they are disappointed.
No, its not perfect, neither was Oblivion, but we all fucking loved it anyway.

I don't' understand this post. How can you say the animation tech is good when you've literally just quoted a gif of a dude sliding across the floor.

Perhaps that dude is doing some super complicated dance.

scripting seems like it would affect that more than animation quality :downs:

That's a glitch that has nothing to do with the animation tech. Obviously they didn't program him to do that.
I pre ordered Skyrim on steam a while ago.
Had a talk with my boss this friday.
I'm being send to China for work on the 11th day of the 11th month of 2011
I was all happy until somebody said, but what about skyrim.
