I think I'll just pick one of the presets and alter some minor stuff. It's mostly a first person game, I won't look at my character's face for that much time. And I'll just want to jump into the action as quickly as possible.

Indeed, I hated them in Fallout and they are even more out of place in Skyrim. It doesn't really help that the animations look like shit either.

2: Making excuses for all the bad of the game. Here's a reality check, the PC won't magically fix everything, anything that's wrong with the game (in the leaked video) will probably still be on release.

Just want to reassure some people here. I played the game at PAX. The game looked beautiful. It had some flaws such as laggy snowy areas (wasn't that bad and only happened for about 2 seconds but happened to my friend for a bit longer) and some things looked a bit odd. It reminded me of how oblivion looks on my xbox compared to how it looks on my PC. PC version of oblivion looked and felt better (I got oblivion really late). I'm not going to worry and even if it does have some problems on release date I won't care.

It must have been the video quality, because I played Skyrim at eurogamer on the Xbox and it looks pretty damn good. Hopefully the pc version looks better, but if not there'll be texture packs soon enough. Hopefully one from Quarl.
