Not that anyone remembers me going from Not interested in this because I can't run it, from Not interested in it because I couldn't afford it...But I have now gone to Interested. I won a raffle, and got Skyrim on my steam account, ready for when it comes out. I'm over the fucking moon.
oh my god just accept that the shadows and textures on the 360 look bad
game's not even out yet there's nothing to accept why do people in this thread jizz over making jabs at the game. guess what, nobody cares. we're still excited about the game and your miserableness can't get us down. fucking bullies man
Considering he didn't know how to fire a bow properly after four failures, part of me doubts that.
haha that was my favorite part of the video. [sp]he sneaks right up to the bear but doesn't draw his bow all the way back so the arrow just falls limply right in front of the bear. doesn't matter though because he just hits the bear twice with his sword and it instantly dies.[/sp]
babbys first RPG
Games are serious business guys
New Vegas, oblivion etc had a two stage LOD system. there was a high detail and a low detail model for each static object.. this is why the LOD system sucked. Creation has a texture streaming ability like UE3, and likely has more than two LOD stages for most models.
Where did you hear this? If it's true that's awesome, we'll finally have something better than oblivion's unoptimised and terrible looking LODs.
check one minute ago. check again. 6 more posts. is this because skyrim is coming fast
Probably, I think most people here are (getting) impatient and post here to pass the time.
Rigged is shit posting because Skyrim isn't a virtual recreation of Dungeons and Dragons with Crysis graphics.
Given the specs required to run it I would want Crysis graphics too.

And of course the bear would be easy to kill, it's the tutorial. Having a good chance of dying in the tutorial dungeon isn't the best way to make people persevere with your game. [editline]31st October 2011[/editline]
Given the specs required to run it I would want Crysis graphics too.
um what
Regeneration is very very slow, it's not as though you get hit and then are instantly healed. It's so that if you're out of a fight and are out of potions you can wait for your health to go up rather than leaving to find more potions. (I.e it's like resting in Oblivion.)
Isn't this supposed to be a roleplaying game instead of a fighting bears and talking to people simulator ? well, there you go, preparation is part of that, they're killing it by removing repair and giving the player health regen, you don't just go around killing shit non-stop without thinking about anything. I'm alright with removing attributes and all the class and race bonuses that didn't make that much of a sense, but the basics ? what's left after removing that ? I'm sure the game will be enjoyable but it's the first step in the wrong direction.
if a game does not have double parallaxed occlusion tessellated verticle shadow mapped polygons then that game is not worth my time!!!!!!!!
haha that was my favorite part of the video.
Given the specs required to run it I would want Crysis graphics too.
I know right, I can't believe they are telling us we need top of the line hardware that will make us poor to run this, like a 260, 4gb of ram and a decent quad core is ridiculous, I can't afford that. Casual Fags ruin everything.
I just watched the leak and to me, the game still looks good. It has a few odd bits that make me want to check them out, but it still seems like an awesome game. Too many people in this thread over hyped this game for themselves and managed to delude themselves into something Skyrim wasn't going to be.

I wonder if Bethesda will attempt to fix some of this stuff now that it is exposed to the public?
Too many people? You mean like 3 right? It's just been the same 3 idiots complaining the entire time, most of us are still hyped.
don't touch me you filthy casual
hey uh, you do know the body in real life also slowly regenerates right?
A few deep cuts, electrocutions, burns and broken bones in a matter of hours ? I wish...
A few deep cuts, electrocutions, burns and broken bones in a matter of hours ? I wish...
Bitch the Dragonborn is like wolverine only ten times cooler No wonder he's healing himself so fast.
anyone have a YouTube link to the leaked opening, I want to download it to my ipod for no real reason
anyone have a YouTube link to the leaked opening, I want to download it to my ipod for no real reason
http://vimeo.com/31327794 Youtube is taken down
anyone have a YouTube link to the leaked opening, I want to download it to my ipod for no real reason
I bet you want to overanalyze it. Overanalyzing is never a good thing to do, it ruins the experience.
I bet you want to overanalyze it. Overanalyzing is never a good thing to do, it ruins the experience.
why would he want it on his iPod, a small little piece of hardware with a tiny screen, to analyze it ? He probably wants to show it to some friends or something
Too many people? You mean like 3 right? It's just been the same 3 idiots complaining the entire time, most of us are still hyped.
Well, when the complaints repeat for a few dozen pages, it makes it seem like it's more than 3 people.
Does anyone here have a link or something to a glorious wallpaper of Skyrim?
why would he want it on his iPod, a small little piece of hardware with a tiny screen, to analyze it ? He probably wants to show it to some friends or something
I don't know, I am not some kind of overanalyzing analyzer.
Well, when the complaints repeat for a few dozen pages, it makes it seem like it's more than 3 people.
You can sum up the whole argument like this : Whiny bitch : THE GAME WILL SUCK ASS WARGWARGWARGWARG Random hyped dude : Eat a dick Whiny bitch : YOU CASUALFAG THE GAME SUCKS AND SO DO YOU Random hyped dude : Eat a dick Rinse and repeat
ok you got me I want to wank over it never mind anyway, my YouTube downloader is malfunctioning anyway
Does anyone here have a link or something to a glorious wallpaper of Skyrim? I for one watched the tutorial video, and is still pumped as ever. Saw no flaws and i want the game more than ever now...
