Are all the kill animations going to be third person, cause I just noticed in that trailer he plunges the sword into the guys chest and it's in first person.

Not all of them, only some. Namely the ones where your characters spins around or jumps on a fucking dragons head and beats it to death, because those would be awkward in first person.

I've seen plenty of 1st-person kill anims, but then I see footage of someone sneaking up on a guy and it went into 3rd-person to slit his throat...I don't want to be forced into 3P at all if I can help it. Also 1st character is definitely going to be Nord McBeardaxe, because fuck originality :v:

I guess it's just random as to whether it pulls back into 3rd person or stays in first

Better be configurable, because I hate getting pulled into third person in any 1st-person game, kills the immersion.
Any mods I should have for Morrowind that are a must? That sinks my boat. I called it kinky, not hot.
http://www.mwmythicmods.com Also MGE XE (I think?)

Why are Skyrim trailers the best trailers ever in existence? How can you NOT be overhyped for this fucking game after watching them.
sure it is
I like the idea they put up on how the way they're developing the environment. I can't remember which video it was, but they said that they're making it all a large land, maybe not as big as Oblivion, but it will feel bigger because you'll have to find ways to get across the physical terrain, like crossing rivers or finding a way over a large cliff gap (Least that's what was implied) That just makes me feel like the exploration factor in this game is going to be much better than what was in Oblivion, which was mostly rolling lands with sporatic dungeon doors around and a lot of running along the faces of mountains to get somewhere.
I have Friday off, gonna get up at like half eight in the morning to run down to an asda and pick up my copy and then play it all day, I probably won't even stop to eat. Meant to be going to a party on the night but I really can't see that happening! I don't know them that well anyway, i'll just text them saying "skyrim" they should know the score.
I hope sneaking gets improved. Yesterday I hit a bandit from behind with a paralyze potion and he gotup and said "Must of been the wind" while falling down. Either he knows I'm there and is insulting me or he's just a dumbass.
no in the leaked footage he stabs a dude in the neck in first person. My favorite thing I came across Oblivion when I started playing it more recently was a dark elf screaming "jump on my sword while you still can!" whilst holding a battle axe. I never really picked up on those kind of small errors until I replayed through it knowing how much better skyrim should be.
so um he gets banned for trolling but rigged doesn't? worst ban reason 2011
Seems like he got banned for flaming not trolling. Rigged should be banned and for longer.
Well how about a link?
Its taken down, sorry for the late reply
The game unlocks at 12:00, have fun reading the manual for 5 hours
Really? This is the first I've ever heard of 'locking' games, I'm gonna be buying it for the 360 seen as though my pc sucks shit. I suppose this will allow me to have a decent sleep in!
The game unlocks at 12:00, have fun reading the manual for 5 hours
12:01 AM, isn't it midnight or something? (silly americans using 12h clocks)
I get the game on 11/10/11 Whole day long to review my manual, cloth map and box art till the final detail has been exposed
12:01 AM, isn't it midnight or something? (silly americans using 12h clocks)
Oh, AM
12:01 AM, isn't it midnight or something? (silly americans using 12h clocks)
it's like that so we scare away silly foreigners stupid time/date formats fo lyfe

[editline]poop[/editline] Actually, the legal ramifications might be the developer/publishers business not Microsoft's, but still. You can get in a whole fuckload of trouble. Remember what happened to the guys who got an early copy of Halo: Reach and played it online? They got banned from LIVE for life and sued, if I remember correctly.
this guy just puts boners on everything [editline]31st October 2011[/editline] sometimes something is so epic it can only be described by a large choir singing nonsense.
What does he say in this part; 'The defeat was **inaudible (BELIG DELAY)**'?
We should discuss about what we shall eat and drink when the game comes in, especially since we got the whole weekend (Unless you gotta work)
I think my 2nd Character will be St. Juib, the battlemage. After training against the cliffracer horde, who is better suited against fighting off the armies of real FULL SIZE dragons?! [editline]31st October 2011[/editline] Also, reguarding visual fidelity, honestly I don't think I will be disappointed. Because to me, I thought Oblivion looked pretty good. Sure its not technically perfect as games like Crysis/BF3, but it still looked really nice enough for me to not be taken out of the game. The only "big" visual downsides I didn't like in Oblivion was: 1. Lack of any kind of dynamic shadows 2. Faces 3. Uninteresting art direction overall (it wasn't bad, but it didn't really pull me in) And to me, it seems like Bethesda has improved those substantially. So what if the animations aren't too much different and the physics are slightly floaty? Honestly that stuff is minor compaired to the above. Because believable faces are huge in making your characters more believable, and without shadows your scene will always lack visual pop and depth, and a game with fantastic art direction and enviornment design that pulls you in is TIMELESS, it will generally always look good even many years down the line. Compare that to a game that is technically eye catching but has little art direction... in a few years time, no one will remember it because it has been visually surpassed many times over. God all this talk of enviornment design makes me really wish I had that art book :( I'd totally buy it on ebay or something if anyone who got the CE was willing to part.
Oblivion was released in 2006. You gotta be able to admit the graphics were amazing for the time.
What does he say in this part; 'The defeat was **inaudible (BELIG DELAY)**'?
merely a delay. Heard it clear enough.
What does he say in this part; 'The defeat was **inaudible (BELIG DELAY)**'?
"Their defeat was merely a delay"? How can you think that's hard to hear..?
We should discuss about what we shall eat and drink when the game comes in, especially since we got the whole weekend (Unless you gotta work)
gonna buy a nice bottle of whiskey
We should discuss about what we shall eat and drink when the game comes in, especially since we got the whole weekend (Unless you gotta work)
Lotta rat meat and skooma [editline]33[/editline] I can't say the word Skooma without feeling silly.
