The soundtrack is a big part for me in a game (particularly an Elder Scrolls) game so I'm going to keep all of it a surprise except for the theme.
Oh shit If some of the songs have [sp]Sovngarde in the name, could that mean we visit Sovngarde at some point in the game?[/sp]
[sp] Depends on what version of Sovngarde they will make canon. Will it be the afterlife of the Nords or some sort of dungeon/temple? [/sp]
I sure hope more streams become available. I really want to see Skyrim more.
OH GOD THE SOUNDTRACK IS AMAZING OH LORDY LORDY LORD. WHY AM I EJACULATING OVER EVERYTHING? UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUJNGGGHH
[sp] Depends on what version of Sovngarde they will make canon. Will it be the afterlife of the Nords or some sort of dungeon/temple? [/sp]
[sp]Todd specifically said in the demo that it's the afterlife.[/sp]
[sp]Todd specifically said in the demo that it's the afterlife.[/sp]
Ok then, [sp] We'll just have to see what and when the music is used. Maybe we'll die temporarily and come back to life, I don't know.[/sp]
Leaving this thread until I get the game. See you in ten days.
Leaving this thread until I get the game. See you in ten days.
You wont last.
Yeah, I kind of want to stay away, just encase of any major spoilers. But I know I wont be able to, so I remind everyone. MAKE SURE YOU SPOILER TAG EVERYTHING SPOILEREYEYIE
You wont last.
Yep, I will not[sp]can't[/sp]buy the game and I couldn't even resist. All these spoilers are damn tempting though, I must resist those. Any spoiler free rad footage out there?
so uh, do you guys think I'd be able to get anything with this shit? http://www.tf2items.com/id/Kyle6424 haven't really played tf2 in a while, so I really have no idea what the economy for it is like
The only thing of value really is the Snaggle tooth but thats only worth a dollar and 50 cents.
I'm not going to spoil myself by downloading the soundtrack Gotta listen to it properly, first.

I don't hold fantasy soundtracks in high regard. Most are formulaic and overuse "epic" elements to the point where they become boring. But i'm making a strong exception to that for Skyrim's soundtrack. I'm very impressed at how consistently great it is, and not just having a few stand-out pieces. It really reminds me of Morrowind's excellent OST, only Skyrim has even more music. Well done, Bethesda/Jeremy Soule/Anyone else involved in it.
Skyrim's theme is Morrowind's only more fast pace, chanting, and altogether more fucking awesome.
"skyrim is a pretty boring game" ALL MY FUCKING RAGE I DONT CARE IF THATS A JOKE.
http://www.mips.tv/channel.php?u=80245 Another Stream.
Next level item rotation
Skyrim's theme is Morrowind's only more fast pace, chanting, and altogether more fucking awesome.
Just like Oblivion's...except better.

[sp]NPCs still don't mind you jumping onto tables and dancing on all their cutlery.[/sp] :v:
Oblivion's OST is one of the all time greatest, IMHO. God knows how many times I've heard those town and house themes, and I never got sick of them and that's saying something [editline]1st November 2011[/editline] Listening to the guys in that stream half-heartedly try to make up a story about working at Bethesda is hilarious
i'm pretty sure he got a bounty for stealing a horse in the middle of the night with no witnesses
i'm pretty sure he got a bounty for stealing a horse in the middle of the night with no witnesses
He got the bounty when he remounted in front of the horse carriage, and then an additional one when he did it again.
I wish that cunt would shut the fuck up, joking or not
Question for everyone here, I've never played a Elder Scrolls game in my life (except for about 30 minutes on morrowind) and was wondering if I should download this game from steam. If I get it will I understand the story despite not playing the previous games?
facepunch should i get skyrim on intkeys or steam, rate agree if intkeys, disagree if steam
Get it, you can easily jump into a TES game without knowing the lore.
But knowing it helps you get the references sprinkled everywhere TES has pretty extensive lore and it can be a bit intimidating at first considering there's like a hundred different characterizations of each of the gods depending on what you're reading
Fucking hell they are the worst commentators ever. If you have nothing good to say dont even fucking say it.
You guys suck I'm laughing at how dumb they are
Quality of the stream is shit
