It's more economic to get a decent gaming rig in the long run. You don't have to pay for any monthly subscriptions, games are cheaper, DLC's are often free and your games get updated.
Add better looking games that run smoother, modding, and an overall better experience to that.
If you're not completely computer illiterate there's really no reason to get a console over a PC these days. The only thing I ever use my Xbox for is to stream movies to my TV.
I have to get it for 360 if I can even afford it (moneys tight, had to fix car). My graphic card is broken and if all goes good with a waiver I should leave for marine boot camp soon. No point spending money.

Exactly. I updated my PC with whole new bits and bobs including quadcore etc. Installed windows 7 64-bit also and playing on a 42'' HDTV through HDMI. Deffo worth it, can max out bulletstorm in 1980x1080 with everything on high, including anti aliasing. Game looks nice and i can't wait to see how Skyrim looks on this bad boy. You really get a sense of achievement once you've built it too

They called me from gamestop and told me that atleast 4 people that have preordered the fucking game will have to wait another 3-5 days to get it and that if i am willing to be one of these "lucky" persons to wait.
No fucking way i will be waiting a few extra days to play this game... Atleast not possible anymore after reading this thread.
