Is nobody else upset with the absence of unarmed skills/perks? I thought that Obsidian did a good job fixing it in New Vegas, so I was hoping bethesda would take the knowledge and put it to good use.
They fixed it in New Vegas? It still seemed one of the most difficult and unrewarding action in the game to me. I was hoping for a more realistic sort of hand to hand fighting, but oh well.

There is one perk that increases unarmed damage but it's under heavy armor http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Heavy_Armor

I only want to see Unarmed in this game due to the fact my main F:NV playthrough was done with an unarmed character and it was loads of fun.
So, I didn't pay Skyrim much mind as I wouldn't be able to run it... but I may be getting a new PC soon. i5-2500k, GTX570, 8GB RAM. Would that max it at 1920x1080?
I wonder where the next TES will be set. What are the options? We've been through Morrowind, Tamriel and now Skyrim. Maybe the Argonian lands? That would be cool. Or even better, revisit Morrowind.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that if you can play oblivion maxed out with more than 50 fps you should be able to max out skyrim

This thread needs a good purging around now...
Blackmarsh would turn the game into more of a survival genre. That place is filled with so many diseases and poisonus creatures.
It wouldn't even make sense to do a game in Black Marsh. Only Argonians can go into the deepest parts...
7days from today 11-11-2011 time 11:11 :)
Argonians, speaking of them, I'll be pissed if they don't have the Morrowind style feet they look terrible with human like feet
200+ new posts, can someone tell me what I missed please?
Ignore him, he's just trying to brag with his system.
That system has bragging rights? I guess my laptop isn't so bad after all.
200+ new posts, can someone tell me what I missed please?
You missed the hype train. Don't worry, it does regular stops here.

I'm streaming Morrowind in a few minutes if anyone is interested. http://www.livestream.com/chryseus
I'm streaming Morrowind in a few minutes if anyone is interested. http://www.livestream.com/chryseus
Fresh start?
Argonians, speaking of them, I'll be pissed if they don't have the Morrowind style feet they look terrible with human like feet
I honestly didn't like morrowind's argonians. their walk animation looked fucking retarded.
Fresh start?
Yep
Is Morrowind even worth buying anymore? When I tried it ages ago I had a hard time getting into it. The level system felt slow and in 5 hours I fought 4 monsters and 2 guards(got bored).
Ignore him, he's just trying to brag with his system.
Actually, no I'm not. I'm not even sure if I'm getting it yet, and I do not know what is required of Skyrim to run it well. I'm new to PC building, too. How about instead of making assumptions about someone, you try to be helpful?
I probably wont be able to play Skyrim when it comes out. Bought a new PC which didnt work because the mother was broken. Got my new motherboard yesterday, installed all that shit, started up the computer to see if it worked. Shut it off to move it to my where my other computer used (is) stand(ing). Plugged in all the cables, hit the start button; dead. Got no money to buy something new or anything, sitting here with a brand new not-working computer which I was hoping that I was gonna play BF3 and Skyrim on...
Morrowind is great. I got it free with my GF Fx5600 way back in the day and didn't play it until a year or two later. It's also got mods out the ass. A number that makes Oblivion seem Meh. And with the right ones, you can make Morrowind look just about as good as Skyrim
I honestly didn't like morrowind's argonians. their walk animation looked fucking retarded.
Human feet need to go, so does the fucked up walk animation. Make it look actually natural with a natural walk. [editline]4th November 2011[/editline] same with the cats
