I've spent literally hundreds of hours on Oblivion, and I'm trying so hard to really get into Morrowind but even though I ask every possible question regarding quests it provides so little information about where I should go that I keep having to check the wiki.

For example, I'm doing the thieves guild questline. I'm on the quest where you steal a dwemer artifact and blackmail somebody in a jail or something like that. It simply tells me to go to Pelagiad. I have no clue where that is and when I ask around nobody has anything to say about it.

What am I doing wrong? Am I missing something?

So I installed Deadly Reflex and all the other crap it needed for Oblivion and now the imperial city is invisible. Its just a lake with a bunch of floating doors.

Someone explain how a combat mod can make an entire city disappear.

I'm trying to play through Morrowind again with no mods, but I do like using the graphics extender to get the view distance enlarged. I also want to use a texture pack, but I feel as though all texture packs I've looked at change the look of the game too much; does anyone know of one that looks great and keeps the feel of the game the same?

I remember Better Cities doing that when I had Deadly Reflex installed, except the area behind the floating doors was apparently made of gigantic error models.

Finally finished modding Morrowind. I prefer Morrowind Mod Manager's load order changing method of just moving the mods up and down the list.

Installed wrong or a possible mod conflict, or your game version isn't the one required by that version of DR

It may be more of a problem with Morrowind and mods than anything else.

I think my Olav's Tap and Tack is glitched. I go in there for that vampire hunter quest (Raynil Dralas or something) and sitting there at a table is Gromm, the bodyguard from the Dark Brotherhood quest with the falling moose head. He jumps up and attacks me. I run outside, so does he. The guards start after him. I turn around towards him, attack, and he disappears. Later in the vampire hunter quest, I'm told to wait an hour and visit the Tap and Tack. I do so, and the Carius guy who said he'd meet me there is gone. I search the city, he's nowhere. It's like he's disappeared off the face of the planet.

Oh, and how do I get DarnUI to save my settings?
