you can pick the race you want, there are no classes
as you use a skill you level it up and can select perks for that skill

If you've seen the leaked character creator video, you can see it's like oblivion.
You pick race, gender, looks (note there were no long beards for some reason), and name. I don't remember but I think you didn't even get to pick your starting skills so you're essentially a blank page with ability to go level class you want.

what happened to indoor dynamic lighting? I don't see it anywhere.
it looks extremely ugly without shadows. it's obvivion all over again; pre-release gameplay videos show tons of dynamic lighting, then when the game finally comes out there is none.

I thought it was the press version that Bethesda handed out recently that got leaked. Either way, I heard the game only just went gold recently, so whatever people were streaming definitely isn't final.

Most of the streams (From what I've seen) is on xbox so that explains why some of the graphical features aren't there.
