The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim V5: But there is one they fear - Dragon porn!

The guy in those videos at gameanyone is a hoot.
I just checked, characters have self-shadowing and casts a dynamic shadow both on the ground and on structures.
yeah that's true, if i recall correctly, judging by footage, the shadows have a pretty short draw distance, as well as the grass... they're the only gripes I had with the gameplay that todd howard showed; hopefully pc version has much further for both (resulting in a better over-all aesthetic)
The overall feeling is ok... much better than Oblivion with no modded parameters. I remember the grass appearing 5 feet away from me, and some heavy pop-up. Skyrim is much better optimized, it almost feels like Red Dead Redemption, where you can see very far away in the distance and the detail transition is very gradual.
because putting a song into a folder is modding, right?
Adding additional songs is modding.
And technically replacing old ones is modding too.
How to transfer your oblivion items into skyrim!:

From the same guy that made that fan-made soundtrack earlier:

This is THE best thing.

I find this one real amazing:

Fun fact: Draugr ( those undead viking guys in skyrim ) is actually a runeword for "Ghost". Similar to the icelandic word Draugur.
Norse Mythology and vikings are so fucking cool.
Modding is the altering of a games files. Whether its adding them or replacing them.
Moving a file into a folder doesn't modify the game or its files in any way.
Uhhh... Yes it does?
Adding music to the game modifies the game, does it not? And adding files modifies the games files, right?
It is modding, just not the most intensive form of it.
Sorry for the crappy page king
Did a check on the systemrequirementslab site and it said I didn't meet the recommended RAM.
Recommended was 4GB I have 3.2GB. Will I be able to run it smoothly or should I upgrade RAM?
I may have found out why in most of the videos around, the shadow of the character is not visible on the scenery. It appears only in 3rd person wiew, if you are in 1st person, there's no shadow both on the ground and on anything around you. It's like in Oblivion, when you skip in 1st person, the character model disappears to save resources.
I am tired of waiting, it's like waiting for fucking Christmas.
This Friday marks the death of my University degree. Fuck the weekend is gonna be boss.
Why does everyone say FUS RO DAH? I'm pretty sure in the trailer he says DU SKO DA!
My favorite part of the trailer is where the Nord is sitting down at a table holding a pencil and looking at a sheet of paper confused, then he shouts SO DOU KOU and the paper explodes.
Tod Howard said iy was Frus Ro Da
I promised myself I would be the first one to receive a copy of Skyrim at my local Gamestop. I am going to get there so fucking early.

Skoda.
[editline]1[/editline]
Seriously though, it's not "DU SKO DA"
and even though this wiki is not official, It seems believable

says what most of the words say, though again, it is not official so it may be wrong.
Can anyone suggest a good cheap mouse for gaming please? I'm currently using a shitty microsoft standard wireless optical mouse i got from asda about 4/5 years ago :v:

No, you will be okay.

Just end some useless processes if it lags which it shouldn't do if you meet other requirements.

"For gaming" isn't quite specific enough. What do you want out of it?
It's definitely not "fus ro da". If whoever started saying that had listened to the trailer they would have known. (FTFY)
Because you know, Todd Howard sure didn't listen to his own game's trailer.

Oh cool, if I want to offend someone I just say Diivon Ved Slen, if you catch my drift.
It's definitely not "fuh ros da". If whoever started saying that had listened to the trailer they would have known.
Todd Howard confirmed it's Fus Roh Dah which means Force Balance Push.

It should be fine. Recommended requirements are usually what will get you lodsa FPS on pretty high settings, you should be fine with 3.2.
Looks like eyeliner to me
just because you're a viking doesn't mean you can't be fabulous
Looks like eyeliner to me
Now that I look at it closer I see what you're saying, I think it's just bad shadows though.
Looks like eyeliner to me
Fixed it for you.

I'd fuck it.
The tossers actually took down the vids?
Oh my god, Bethesda are being ridiculous
No they aren't, actually, skyrim isn't out, there shouldn't be any videos leaked of it.
