I was really looking forward to this game, but after the recent gameplay videos I'm not sure I'll even buy it. I was hoping it would be what Oblivion promised to be, but the gameplay and graphics still look very much like Gamebryo.

I realise how backwards it is to nitpick at an open world game's graphics - but I do think it's a crucial thing for people who play the game for immersion. That said, I've always been able to look through Bethesda's presentation for the content - if Skyrim is just an extension of Oblivion's dated look, I really don't mind.

okay first of all i don't expect it to be a big open world crysis. i do however expect it to be better than what i've seen. right now it looks like a 2007 game, and I'm basing that on the official gameplay videos as well.

second, if you don't give a shit about the graphics, why have you been defending them for the last 2 pages? also "we"? speak for yourself, a lot of people give a shit about graphics.

you keep emphasising that the graphics are going to be amazingly superior on the pc, but really doubt it. the lighting and shadows are still gonna be the same, and the animations are still gonna be bad, only the textures will be higher res. if the graphics on the pc are going to be so much more amazing, they would have released screenshots and videos from the pc version instead.
